Hey guys, i'm slack.

Also i have been so crazy busy with uni work (who would have thought become a psychologist would entail so much work!). I am actually right in the middle of my exams, and this book has been my moment of peace and fun. I love writing it. I'm actually going to post probably around ten chapters because i have them all written. I had a frenzied burst of writing a little while ago and i am actually soooooo close to having the finale all done.

But i just wanted to sincerely thank every reader from the bottom of my heart.

Some of you are new readers, some are old readers from my other story, but i appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. Today i logged on and basically started laughing crying when i saw that They call me Grim was number 2 in magic, out of like nearly 200,000 thousand stories and yeah there were tears. And then i saw this book at like 2,000 nearly and that also made me more emotional.

I never get tired of votes, comments, opinions and just people reading. Especially because i never had much confidence in my writing. I have grown a lot through writing and i hope to always continue growing and writing.

Thankyou all. Stay safe in the world, be kind to each other and support one another.

Much love.

"I'll miss you," Zara told Harriet softly as they stood on the edge of the forest.

"I know," Harriet said with a small smile, "But I'll miss you more."

"It won't be long before we're together again," Zara said, more for herself than for her mate. "But I need to go to Cassie, I need to save her."

Harriet smiled softly. "I can't think of anyone better for the role than you. You can do anything."

Zara felt her cheeks redden again and pulled Harriet in for a last kiss. Zara wrapped her arms around her, pulling Harriet's body against hers and just feeling her. She would miss everything about her mate. Zara could already feel the ache in her heart.

But she had things she needed to do.

When they broke apart Harriet grinned at Zara. "I love you."

Zara opened her lips in surprise, blinking her eyes as she tried to process what Harriet had just said. "Well, I love you to. That's crazy."

Harriet smiled and placed a soft kiss on Zara's cheek. "I'll be with you in a couple days, I promise."

Zara nodded. "Stay safe."

"Always."

Harriet stepped back and smiled one last time at Zara. She then turned and began her transformation. Zara flinched at the sounds of cracking bones and tearing, yet she couldn't tear her eyes away. She watched as her mate's bones cracked and popped, moving and reconnecting. Flesh faded away, replaced by deep black fur. Hands became paws with long claws.

In a mere second a large inky black wolf stood where Harriet had. It was large, reaching up to Zara's chest, with the paw the size of her face. Zara was amazed.

"Goodbye," Zara called out. Harriet offered a nod, bowing her head before she raced off into the trees where her other wolves sat waiting.

Zara watched her race off, her chest tight with emotion but knowing that she had to go. She slowly turned away to where Violet stood, arms crossed over herself and looking rather small.

"Are you ready?" Violet asked.

"Of course," Zara said with a false smile. She walked back to Violet and they began the walk to the car. "What do you think of those two, Anya and Norma."

"I like them," Violet said softly. "I can't read them, just like I can't read you. Its amazing to have some silence. But, I also trust them. There have been an awful lot of coincidences as you like to say, but what's happened is meant to happen."

Zara stared ahead and said something that had been on her mind for a while. "I don't think Fate is . . . opposing me or us. I think we're doing the right thing."

Violet glanced at Zara. "Fate is kinda like god, right?"

"Yes and no. You humans don't have much of an understanding, but then again, neither do I. All I know is that Fate is kind of the guardian of all of us in a way? The angels look up to Them as if They're an all knowing and always right being, who will kill you if they disobey. I think they're really wrong. I think Fate- I don't know actually."

She was intimidated by Fate of course, but there was something gentle and kind about the imposing being. There was power, but not really. Zara thought back to her dream and her impression of Them. Stern, but kind, was the first image that came to mind.

Violet shrugged. "As long as we make it through this alive and without the world ending, I'm happy. I plan to never leave my apartment after this ever again."

That made Zara laugh.

Anya and Norma were already in the car, in a deep conversation that stopped when the other two approached.

Norma offered them a grin. "You ready dearies. Dear Harriet said it should take us two days to get there, but honestly I reckon a day at the most."

"We might die just trying to get there," Anya said lazily, flicking some sunglasses down over her brilliant green eyes.

"Sounds fun," Zara responded as she slid into the car.
