I laid down in the grass looking up at the stars. It was a pretty summer night, there were no clouds in the sky and was quite relaxing. The perfect night to sleep in after a long day of working. Everyone was covered in sweat and was tired as hell. We set up a crappy camp, we were all tired and didn't have the strength to put in any more effort.

Blake was sitting over the small fire we had made and was cooking our food we had used our money to buy from a nearby market. Remington had left to go get food of his own.

"Why doesn't Remington eat food other people make for him?" Blake asked.

"I don't know..." I sighed, "He says it's when your at your most vulnerable and people can get you sick on accident or someone could poison you. Honestly it's just the paranoia from him doing coke."

"Don't say that. Remingtons been clean for two years now." Reece said.

"Yeah we had to make him stop doing the hard drugs after he had a seizure." I added.

"Well good for him. I know addiction must be a bitch." Blake said.

"Yeah."

I could then hear faint crying in the distance, I sat up and saw Cleveland walking towards us. He had gone on one last look around to see if Warren was around. And I guess he was unsuccessful.

"Oh no." Reece muttered.

Cleveland walked over to our camp and slowly sat down and put his hands over his face, "I didn't see him anywhere..." Cleveland said as his crying then turned to sobbing.

Reece looked at me and Blake as she put her hand on Clevelands like she was looking for help. I knew this was bad, not even Reece could think of a positive possibility at this point. We were all sure Warren would show up at this point.

"Do you guys think Remington was right..? What if Warren left?" Cleveland choked out.

"Warren would leave you Cleveland, I'm sure Warren wants to leave but he needs you, he loves you Cleveland he wouldn't leave without you." Reece said.

"Than where is he?" Cleveland exclaimed, "If he was hurt someone would've found him by now, if he was helping someone he would've come back by now!"

Me and Blake flashed a worried look. He wasn't wrong.

"Well let's ask Corban," I suggested, "He's the smartest one out of the rest of us, there's probably something we're missing."

"Yeah that's a good idea." Reece said.

Cleveland wiped his eyes and nodded, "Okay..."

We all headed over to a building in the center of town, we walked into what seemed like a mix between a doctors office and a makeshift hospital. There weren't many people. Just Corban and an old man on opposite sides of the room. Corban was asleep in one of the beds lining the walls. His head was under his pillow as if he was trying to cover himself from the light. We walked over and I put my hand on his shoulder and shook him awake.

Corban raised his head as his pillow fell on the floor. He squinted at me and had an annoyed and confused look on his face.

"What..?" He groaned.

"We can't find Warren he's been missing all day and we thought since you'd probably notice something we haven't." I explained.

"What?" Corban asked in a more awake tone of voice, "What do you mean Warren's missing?"

"He's gone." Reece said, "We haven't seen him since we got here."

"Wh— Well who saw him last?" Corban asked.

"Remington," I replied, "He said Warren pulled him aside to talk to him and they got in an argument, Warren said he was going to leave but that doesn't make sense because he would've told and brought Cleveland with him."

"Why does Warren want to leave?" Corban asked.

"Probably to find his daughter." Reece said, "But it just doesn't make sense, because if he was helping someone he would've shown up by now."

"And if he was hurt someone would've found him by now as well." Blake added.

"Right and we thought ya know you could probably recognize something we haven't." I said.

"Where's Remington?" Corban asked.

"He went to go get his own dinner." Reece said.

"There's a bar down the street I wouldn't be shocked if he wandered in there. You guys should talk to him, I know there's something important Remington isn't telling us, maybe ask why Warren pulled him aside in the first place. If Warren was going to leave he would've told all of us. And if he wanted to be secret about it his first choice to tell in secret would not be Remington. They're always on each other's nerves." Corban pointed out.

"I never thought of that." Reece said.

"You have a good point, thanks Corban. Let's check that bar then," I said as I stepped away from Corban's bed.

"Hey if you guys find anything else tell me." Corban said in a weirdly concerned tone.

"Yeah... we will." I said.

Corban was right Remington was at the bar down the street. We walked in and Remington was sitting alone with a half drank beer that I had a strong feeling wasn't his first.

"Remington." I called his as I walked over to him.

"Are you here to yell at me for drinking?" He asked begrudgingly.

"No we're here because Warren hasn't shown up yet and we think you missed some important details when telling us the last time you saw him." I said.

"Do you think I did something to him? Because I didn't if that's what your wondering. I'm not hiding anything." Remington muttered.

"No we're not accusing you of anything, we just think you forgot to add in a detail or two." I explained calmly.

"Yeah like why did Warren pull you aside in the first place?" Reece asked.

Remington rolled his eyes at the question, "He got all scared that Victor and Vincent were plotting against me. He claims he's fluent in Spanish and that he heard them say they were going to sell me off to the Syndicates. But I think that he's just upset that I got us a place to stay."

Blake, Reece, and I flashed a wide eyed look at each other, and than over to Cleveland.

"Does Warren speak Spanish?" Blake asked in a scared voice.

"He's been able to speak fluent Spanish since he was thirteen..." Cleveland muttered.

We all looked back over at Remington.

"REMINGTON YOU IDIOT HOW COULD YOU LEAVE THAT OUT!?" I exclaimed.

"Because Warren was being ridiculous! I've known these guys longer than I've know you, sure there's tension but I trust them! And Warren has done nothing but challenge me and try to take my spot as leader ever since he got here!" Remington exclaimed.

"Remington I don't think Warren has any interest in leading, you said it yourself he wants to leave." Blake explained.

"You guys realize how bad this is right?" I asked, "Somehow one of the twins found out Warren knew what they said. And not only does that mean Warren's in trouble, but we have Syndicates coming our way..."
