Alyssa's POV
After the party was over Taylor, everyone, else and I were cleaning up. Then my phone was ringing. I moved my finger to the right and answered it. It was a man.
The Man- "Hello Alyssa", he said.
"Yes", I said.
The Man- "Do you know who this is"?, he said.
"No", I said.
The Man- "My name is James", he said.
My whole expression changed on my face, Plus everyone noticed it.
"Is this General James Calhoun"? I asked
"Yes it is" he said
"Oh my gosh", I said while crying.
"Why are you crying babygirl, this is supposed to be a happy moment". He said
"It's is, I'm just so happy to hear your voice".
Then I hear the doorbell rang.
"Who's that at the doorbell", he said
"I don't know", I said
I opened the door and I bust into tears. There was a man at the door, he was wearing a military uniform.
On his uniform, it said Calhoun. I knew exactly who he was.
"DADDY", I say as I wrap my arms around him giving him a hug.
"Happy Birthday Alyssa"
"Thank you", I said
"Wow, you have grown up on me, haven you"?
"Yep, "I just turn 18".
Everyone was still cleaning and introduced them to my father.
"Dad, do you know who she is"?
Why yes I do, You must be Destiny?
"Why yes I am, sargent", she said
"How do you know Destiny"?, I said
"Her father works with me, Shale McCray, I believe that's his name"?
"It sure is" I miss him so much". She said
"He misses you too", he said.
"Dad", I said nervously. This is my boyfriend Taylor Caniff.
"What happened to Karson", he asked
"He broke up with me", I said
"Do I need to find this fellow, and teach him a lesson"? He ask
"No I'm not worried about him, I've got Taylor now.
"Are you treating my baby girl right"?
"Yes Sargent", said Taylor
"Good, I've heard about you on Vine, and I have to say, you are really funny".
"Thank you".said Taylor
I know my dad only came for my birthday and I know he has to go, so we did our goodbyes, I was kind of sad but yet a lot happy because I got to see my father.
Taylor's POV
I can't believe that I just met the father of this beautiful, smart, talented, independent girl standing next to me.
"Alyssa", I said
"Yeah", she said.
"Your dad scared the crap out me". I said nervously.
"He always does to my boyfriend" she said.
Everyone was finishing up with the cleaning. Destiny was acting a little weird. She just got up and told everyone she was leaving while Aaron was in the bathroom. Me and Alyssa think she doesn't want to be with Aaron, and that's a big problem.
