Fan Theories

So I was watching a youtube video on VictorianaGray's channel about making a Mandy-inspired notebook, but before she started she shared a theory she'd developed about Mandy.

So, when Lou was giving his talk about the washing machine, he said that every time a doll goes through the wash, they get "a little less perfect." And as he was saying this, the camera cut to Mandy, who had a really embarassed look on her face. Now, anyone who's seen the movie (and some who haven't) knows that Mandy needs glasses and is very ashamed of this fact. So here's the question: Was she put through the washer at some point, and is that what damaged her vision?

Personally, I think its a very interesting theory, and it got me thinking about what other theories like this might be floating around. Anyone else out there have any fan theories about the movie? I'd love to hear them. It doesn't matter if it's got loads of eveidence behind it or if it's a little far out there. Heck, it could even be a crack theory that you're especially fond of.

An example of such: I'm holding with white knuckles to the idea that Lou's green-eyed backup singers is the guy who fainted a minute and a half into The Ugly Truth, who then had the fastest recovery in history so that he could sing. It's not likely true, but I stubbornly hold to the belief because I think it's funny and cute.
