knock knock 

"dinners ready" hobi hyung yelled from outside. "coming" I yelled back. tae was done bandaging my hand. he stood up and left without answering my question. it hurt to know that he has moved on from me. he is already going on a date with Baekhyun hyung. did I not mean anything to him. was I not good enough. I shook all those thoughts and went out. everyone went quiet when they saw me. 

"What happened?" Joon hyung asked me with concern. "I was gaming and there was a fly annoying me so I tried to kill it and I hit the wall" I lied. they seemed to believe my story. everyone except taehyung hyung. he knows me too well. 

the next day 

"I miss you," he said with sadness clearly visible in his voice. "I miss u too" I replied. "but we can't be together". "y not?" I asked him curiously. "because I don't love u anymore" those words broke my heart into infinite pieces. does he rlly not love me? was I just a temporary thing? did I mean nothing to him? 

knock knock 

I woke up by the loud noise. I got up and opened the door. and I was met with a boxy smile. a smile that melts my heart no matter how mad I am or how down I am. a smile that belongs to only one person in the world. "breakfast is ready" he said. happiness filled in his voice. 

I got cleaned up and I went for breakfast. tae was in a very cheerful mood. maybe it's because baekhyun and their date. I hope he is happy.

ugh, my legs hurt. too much dancing today. 

knock knock

"it's open" I yelled so they could hear me but the door didn't open. "it's freaking open" still no one entered. damn it can I not have peace for a minute. I got up and opened the door.

they all sang so loudly I thought I would go deaf. I didn't even realize it was my birthday. I blew out the candles and they all hugged me. "happy birthday Jungkookie" tae said with a smile and I loved it. 

we all ate the cake and they left but tae stayed back. he handed me a box with a huge smile on his face. we sat down and I started opening the present that's when I felt his warm lips on my cheek. but he pulled back and I don't think he realized what he just did. 

I opened the box and I smiled. it was an iron man phone cover. ofc he knows wht I want. "do u like it," he asked curiously. "ofc I do". I took out my phone and put on the cover.

he said goodnight and left. last year on my birthday he stayed over and we had an amazing night. we talked and had so much fun. I wished that we could be forever.
