Daniel woke up early on a Sunday morning. Technically every morning for his morning run. Walking through the apartment, most of his stuff is packed. Daniel will be moving right out of the city and just outside Spruce Grove with the rest of his family. More like his friends of all ages, but he thinks of him as family since he's spent most of his life with him.

He had a difficult childhood until he met them. Daniel had a difficult childhood that he doesn't like to think about. It hurts him to even think about, let alone talk about it. The only time he talked about it was when he came along with this family and they wanted to know what happened. The boys did promise him they won't tell a soul about what happened to him. It's only his business to tell.

Getting into some grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt, grabbed his earbuds and phone and left the apartment. Playing his music, he started jogging around the city block. Jogging to the library, through Central Park, Up to Brookwood Elementary School, through their neighborhood, and back.

Once he got back, Daniel quickly had a warm shower. once he finished,  he got dressed in blue jeans, and a black long sleeve shirt. Continuing to pack up, he'll be moving out soon with his boys. Moving out with his boys into this small neighborhood outside Spruce Grove.

Daniel is almost done packing everything. Once he moves out into the home, he will quit his work at the gas station, and get another job to pay the mortgage and bills for his home and car, which would help him a lot. In the middle of packing his things in the bedroom, his phone rang on the counter in the kitchen.

He ran to the kitchen picking up his phone.

"Hey Owen."

"Hey Dan."

Owen is his best friend from the beginning from when he entered the family of guys.

"What are you doing?"

"Just finishing up packing for the moving."

"Same bro. I'm just on my break for now. I've been cleaning all morning."

"Yeah, I've been packing all week."

"But it will be worth it at the end."

"It will. I can't wait to get out of this stuffy and claustrophobic apartment. The neighbors too."

"What do they do?"

"Well sometimes they yell and argue at night when I'm trying so hard to get to sleep. There's some down the hall, that also argue, but they have a dog too which barks so loud. Also, the next door neighbors on my left, their bedroom is right behind mine and when they have sex, it's so goddamn loud. Literally, their bed frame is slamming against the wall which is right where I sleep. She also moans so loudly!"

"That's pleasure for ya."

"I know. I also got a complaint from them claiming 'my TV was turned up too loud'"

"I could see you doing quote and quote with your fingers from the sarcastic tone you had."

"Yep. But I Just turned it down I little because I didn't want to deal with the landlord about it."

"Did you send in a complaint to the landlord?"

"Yep and apparently I'm not the only one. I'm surprised they haven't been kicked out yet from the hundreds of complaints that's been sent from the neighbors around. I only sent in like a couple though."

"Okay, it's good that you sent in complaints 'cause you're literally right there but glad you weren't those who send millions of complaints."

"Yeah."

Daniel continued to pack silently as he talked to Owen. It was good to talk to him again as Daniel's been busy these passed couple of weeks packing and work. Catching up from the past couple weeks they talked, laughed. It was good to talk to a friend since childhood. Owen is that kind of friend who will always have your back and make the bad times, good.

Owen is always bashful at times, but also very boisterous once you get to know him. It was near the end of the call.

"Hey, say hi to Lilian for me."

"I will."

Before he clicked off he heard Owen yell at Lilian that Daniel said hi, then a faint yell in the background. "She says hi."

"Alright, but I better get back to work packing so I can get it done and finished."

"Alright, see ya."

Daniel clicked off and finished packing. Since they were moving in a couple of days, Daniel started stacking things in the front. His next step is to load everything in his car and clean the place up before checking everything to make sure he's got everything. Then he'll have to give the key back to the landlord and move to his new home with his family.
