As Maya laid on the bed with her wrist burning from the cuffs being too tight on her. She could feel the iron cut through her flesh as blood started dripping down her arm. Not only that but her arm felt numb from having cuffed to the bedpost, the blood rushing out of her arm.
It felt like years being trapped in the room. No sun shining on her delicate skin, the air musty and dust floating around like flies swarming in their group.
Although Nik has been feeding her, she feels hungry and thirsty. And the whip marks on her stomach don't help either. Every time Maya talks back, or doesn't listen to Nik or his 'helpers', she gets whipped by his belt five times. Sometimes in the same spot, or on her back, arms, and legs.
He only told her that she;e been in here for a week and already can barely move, let alone breath. With the marks on her stomach and chest, it makes it hard to breathe and eat. Taking a sip of water that sets on the table, the light shone on her lashes on her arm.
Taking small sips as it hurt to lift the arm to her mouth. After taking a few sips for her mouth to water up, Maya placed it back on the nightstand. With nothing to look at, her eyes fell onto the chair that Nik would sit in talking to her. The door opens revealing him.
Speak of the devil.
"Hello there, honey. Enjoying the rest?"
"No." Her voice came out raspy and a whisper.
"Why not?"
"I'm in pain."
"Aww, really?"
Maya nodded very slightly. Nik sat down on the chair admiring the view on Maya with the lash marks all over her precious, beautiful body. "I brought you something. A gift you could say."
Maya glanced his way not caring at all. Her eyelids are so heavy, they're ready to fall into blackness. Regardless of Maya answering, he pulled out a knife with dried blood staining the tip of it. Once Maya had figured what it is, she backed away with her whole body aching.
"Come on Maya. I've got this for you. It's a gift from my heart."
"What are you going to use that for?"
"This old thing?" Nik held it up like a souvenir showing Maya his precious toy. Nik gave a slight chuckle. "I don't know . . . Maybe this."
Nik crawled on the bed cornering Maya as she tried to scoot away. Nik brought the knife up to her face, slicing the bridge of her nose creating a little cut. She screamed as the pain shot through her body. "Sorry Maya, it slipped."
Tears streamed down her face. Nik sliced her left cheek, letting the blood drip onto the knife. Fresh blood onto his little toy. The salty tears stung the cut which created more pain. Her body could only take so much pain before she goes completely numb.
He laughed as he enjoyed watching her in pain.
"You're a sadist and a creep, you know that?" Maya whispered.
"Oh deary, I do know that." Nik grasped her chin yanking to the left side as he brought up the knife and sliced her other cheek. Maya whimpered in pain. So much pain that she's ready to pass out. Her vision became blurry, and her mind spinning with the process of events from what just happened.
"Don't fall asleep on me now, darling."
"I . . . Please stop . . . Why . . ."
Before she knew it, her eyelids gave out and she drifted off into a deep dark slumber.

When Maya's eyes flutter open, the room is dark and misty. Turning her head towards the lamp as it's off. Sighing, she closed her eyes for a moment letting her body wake up from the numbness. The movement she made to get to the lamp to create light in the room caused more pain hurtle through her body.
Flicking the light to life, it blinded her for a moment as she squeezed her eyes shut, opening them one at a time. Laying in bed for a good five minutes, she felt a burn in her cheek and nose. Touching ever so lightly, she flinched at the pain. Being stupid Maya also touched her nose, flinching at the sharp pain radiating in her body. The door creaked open and in walked in the guy that kidnapped her a week ago.
"Hello, glad you're awake.I brought you dinner. Hope you like Chicken soup."
Maya sat up, he placed a folded dish towel on her lap then setting the soup on top of it. Maya held her hands on the side flinching from the hotness.
"Careful, it's hot."
"Thanks."
He left her to eat her meal for the night. Letting her frozen hands, from the coldness of the room, warm up form the outside of the bowl. Carefully picking up the spoon. Slurping the food letting the liquid slip down her throat. Each swallow burned from the pain and the hotness.
Once she finished her meal, Maya set it off to the side on the table and waited for the helper to come back and fetch it. Also, waiting for anyone to find her.
