They think Nik has something to do with Maya's disappearance. Since the phone call with Nik, Daniel has a hunch that he's more than what he says. Daniel, Mike and the rest of the gang have been plotting ideas of where they could be hiding, and how to get her back.
Karen's been on plenty of meltdowns and won't stop until she gets her daughter back. She will hurt the person who have hurt her.
All eight of them surrounded Mike's living room thinking of a plan. The cops are useless in this case and won't get involved unless if they have to.
"Okay, once we find out where Nik is hiding her, we are to sneak in and kilol all of the people who stand in our way that are helping him. We don't want anybody getting hurt that aren't supposed to."
Mike explained the plan thoroughly making sure everyone gets it. "Karen, I don't want you caught up in this mess. I need you to wait here."
"But Maya . . ."
"No. Unless if you're asking for a death wish, I don't need you to get killed, or hurt. Especially killed."
"Okay."
Mike looked like he was expecting a fight from her. Daniel sat on the couch listening intently. He wants Maya back just as much as everyone else does. Daniel is thinking how she must feel, what they are possibly doing to her. Beating her up, starving her, her almost dying. Daniel could imagine what she's going through.
Rage raced through him as he thought about it. The cops ain't doing anything, if so it's hardly. By the time they find her she could possibly be dead. If you want something done, do it yourself. And that's what they're going to do.
"Daniel, Anthony and I are going over to the mansion and find anything that could help us. The police must have missed and since it's been a week, I doubt police would still be there. It's not a murder scene. While the rest of you, go kill and so it doesn't look like we abandoned our job."
Daniel nodded in agreement. "What time do we get up?"
"Same time as always. We will meet at my car while the rest of you go to the truck. Robert you're in charge of the killings and driving. I'll give you the address for tonight."
They nodded. It took all day to plan this and not get caught from them and the cops.
The night rolled around and Marley, Killian, and Latch drove up to the mansion. He parked his car high up on the road for no one to spot the car. Walking down the rocky road in the night as the moon shine onto the mansion.
They went around to the side to hop the fence as the police locked the gate for no one to enter, but didn't think about the sides. Creeping up to the door, it's locked.
"Dammit. I don't have the key. I gave it to Seizure for the house to kill."
"Why don't we break in?"
"Yep, Killian. Let's break in and the police find out that someone broke into the house afterwards," Daniel sarcastically said.
"I was only joking Marley."
"Uh-huh."
"Spread around the home, look for a way in."
Daniel moved around the back looking up and down. A window at the bottom caught his eye. Crouching down to his stomach, he felt around the window for anything to open it. It took a couple minutes for him to find a latch to to open the window. Unattaching the screen then sliding the window open.
"What'd you find?"
"I found a way in, get Latch."
He heard Killian's footsteps disappear into the distance. Spinning so feet are going in first he slid himself in carefully. Adjusting so his hips would fit in. Holding onto the side of the window so he wouldn't slide right in and lose balance.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to get in, Latch."
He stepped on the boxes which he didn't step on it right, making him slide down with every box crashing onto him burying Daniel deep within. "Are you okay Marley?"
"Yep."
Daniel stood up pushing the boxes off of him. "I'm okay. I've gotten worse. Come down slowly."
"How about you go upstairs and open the front door for us. so we don't have to go through the same situation."
Marley nodded going straight to find his way around for the stairs. Stumbling over boxes and what not, he found a light switch. Flicking the light to life it blinded him but at least he could see.
Working his way around he found the stairs leading upstairs. Stumbling on the stairs from the bright light, he entered the dark home of the main floor. He's never been in the home before, trying to navigate where everything is. Reaching the front door he unlocked it and invited the two guys that's waiting there patiently.
"Took you long enough," Killian replied.
"Okay, while you two chilled here I tumbled around the basement finding the light so I could see. I also had to navigate my way around the place. So sorry it took awhile."
The two guys came in as Daniel closed the door not bothering to lock it.
"Alright, Marley, you take the basement, Killian you take the main floor and I'll take the upstairs. Search as much as you can."
The three split up as daniel made his way back into the basement. Scanning the massive room, he didn't know where to start. Starting at the boxes, he searched through the boxes, most of them being empty. A few boxes must have Nik's old things because it sure as hell didn't look like Maya's things.
Some of the stuff he found in his boxes are basketball pictures for school, yearbooks, school worksheets and assignments. Old uniforms for the basketball team he must have played in.
He dug around more boxes finding Maya's things. Old school stuff as in assignments, volleyball team uniform, volleyball pictures, assignments.
He scanned the room of somewhere where it could have a clue. Destroying the basement it felt useless for whatever reason. Marley couldn't find anything and it felt that every second he wastes, the more Maya gets beaten and destroyed. It's not getting him or them or anyone any closer to finding her.
Something did catch his eye as he was ready to give up. Walking towards a wall in the back corner where the stones don't fit into place. Hovering over the wall gently placing his hand on the stone. Tracing over the wall, he pressed it ever so often until a clicking sound. Stepping back a couple inches, he watched the door open to reveal a secret room.
Marley texted both Killian and Latch what he found. Without waiting for them, he stepped into the long dark tunnel. Stone bricks layered out the tunnel walls and ceiling just like the basement.
Turning on the flashlight on his phone, Marley descended into the tunnel. It felt like an eternity before he reached to the end where there stands a small cell door. No windows peeks through this. Grasping the handle, he tried to yank it open as strong as he could. With no avail.
Swearing under his breath, something caught his eye in the corner. Movement.
Looking around he saw nothing. Gazing back at the door, he tried again with no avail. He felt something cold and sharp against his neck, knowing it's a knife. slowly taking out his knife he spun around and sliced it's collarbone. The person staggered back dropping the knife placing it's hand on their collarbone to stop the bleeding.
It faced up. Marley saw his eyes filled with rage. Coming closer he sliced his throat without hesitation. Marley backed up as blood sprayed in his face. Just as he backed away from the limp corpse, someone grabbed onto his waste and covered his mouth with a cloth. He struggled to get free.
Soon he fell into a deep black hole of darkness.
