Mabusisi kong chinecheck ang building equipments ngayong araw kasi Linggo. Medyo bawas ang laborers dahil sa machineries.
"Hands on na hands on tayo ah?" A woman's voice startled me but the happy startle because I recognized that voice. I looked around and saw Zoe. "What are you doing here?" I asked her before I kissed her cheek.
"Unfortunately, busy ang company driver namin para ihatid yung mga anak ng empleyado after our remedial class kaya I volunteered to do it. Yung isa sa tutees ko ay choir member pala kaya dito na nagpahatid kasi raw may practice."
"You're working hard, Zoe." I complimented her which she countered right away. "This ain't work, RJ."
"Clever."
"You didn't tell me about this project ha?" She told me matter of factly.
"As if naman interesado kang malaman ang line up ng clients namin."
"True. But this," she looked around, "this is something special. You should've shared it to me. Ikaw ha? Ano'ng feeling na isang church ang bini-build mo ngayon?"
"Surreal."
"I think so," malaya nyang pinagmasdan ang area and I saw her approving stance. Parang ngayon lang ako naging proud sa trabaho ko. "Hindi ka pa ba tapos for today?" She asked me.
"I have one more hour to stay here. May importante kasi akong ihahabilin sa foreman. How about you? Uuwi ka na ba?"
"Yeah."
"Hindi ka na busy?" I just wonder kasi pag ganitong Sunday, it's either nasa mall ito nagsha-shopping or nasa beauty clinic para magpafacial or spa.
Umiling sya. "Good. Pwede bang magpahintay nalang? Ihatid mo ko pauwi."
"Wow ha! You're taking advantage of the Zoe-driver today? Ang kapal ha. Sige, basta ipa-full tank mo ang sasakyan ko."
"Ay mag-gaGrab nalang ako."
"Kuripot nito."
"Hahaha loko lang! Oo na, ako na ang magpapa-gas dyan."
"Ayan... mas okay. Osya fine, I'll wait for you."
"Halika, ipapakilala kita kila Father. Samahan mo ko magcoffee doon sa refectory."
"Basta libreng coffee, no problem."
"Zoe, naghihirap ka na ba?"
