8 Years Later
Lily's POV

There were many things that changed between me and my parents over the years, still close, but more I was now more independent. However, I remember specifically the day I had first started my period. It was... eventful.

"Dad? Papa?" I whimper, beginning to freak out, I was bleeding. Was I dying?

"Dad? Papa?" I call again, a little more urgency in my voice. I was currently in the bathroom. I had just started my first year of junior high, and I was fucking bleeding.

I still don't hear any shuffling from outside. "Papa?" I whimper now, scared out of my mind of the thought that I was dying.

I finally hear someone call my name. "Lily? What's wrong sweetie?" I try to breathe normally, I had no idea what was going on.

"I'm... bleeding?" I hear his breathing stop. This was so awkward.

"You're... What?"

"Bleeding," I answer again. "From my southern region, I don't know why?" I pause scared to ask, "Am I dying?"

I hear a slight hitch before he starts breathing again, "Give me a second honey, I'm gonna call aunt Nemi okay?" He sounded like he was doing his best not to faint or freak out. And why did he have to call Nemi? What could she do that he couldn't?

"Am I actually dying?!" I ask completely terrified now.

"No! No, you're not dying sweetheart," I could tell he was barely holding it together. I hear his phone ring before the sound of Aunt Nemi's voice comes up.

"Hello?" She asks.

"Hey so I have a situation over here, and I don't know what to do," Papa states clearly.

"What's it about?" She asks again politely.

"It's about Lily?"

The line pauses, before I hear a screech, "What the hell happened?! I swear to all gods Mick if something happened to that angel-,"

"She says she's bleeding from her southern region? This sounds like that girl thing that happens, and I don't know what to do?!"

"Oh, am I on speaker?" She calms down.

"Yes." He answers simply. I hear her clear her throat.

"Sweetie, how much is there?" She asks me, I look around, noticing it looked like a murder had just been committed.

"A lot," my voice shakes. And I know I'm probably very pale right now.

"Don't worry about a thing, I'll bring some stuff over, take a deep breath, you're not dying, I'll be over soon." I breathe out a sigh, thankful for the reassurance that I was in fact, not dying. "Alright, I'm on my way over now, and by the way, welcome to being a woman!"

I am thoroughly confused now, being a woman? I'm just going to be glad when she gets here. Until then I'm not leaving this bathroom.

"Thanks?" I answer before the line ends.

"See I told you you weren't dying!" I giggle at his response, and this had a cause-effect reaction. My stomach tightens and I groan at the cramping feeling. "What's wrong? Do you want me to call Dad?"

I just give a small 'Yes' before footsteps trail away from the bathroom.

Minutes later I hear the doorbell ring. That was probably Aunt Nemi, the door opens and I hear her ask where I was. Papa told her where and I hear her footsteps come to the door.

"Lily? Feeling okay?" I give a sound close to no and she sighs. "Alright, honey. I have some stuff for you to use. Do you know what's going on?" She asks again softly like she was dealing with a tiger.

"No," I groan as the terrible feeling in my stomach flared up again.

And after that, she told me exactly what was going on, how to handle it, and that she was always open to getting me more stuff for things like this in the future. I felt my heart soar.

I open the door enough to stick my hand out and she placed a box in it. I knew what to do with it after that. Once I was done I opened the door to her waiting for me.

I burst into tears. And the crazy part was, I didn't know why. I was just crying, but then she mentioned chocolate and my tears seemed to slow.

She grabbed my hand and lead me to the living room of our house. There both my Dads stood, Papa's face was pale, while Dad's was patting him on the shoulder as if to console the blonde.

At the sight of the two, I started crying again. Nemi just smiled and told them what happened, leaving out some details for privacy reasons, before letting me go and hug my dads.

"I... I thought... I thought I was dying!" I wailed falling into their arms. My cramps only got worse by the second.

Then I turned to Nemi, "Thank you!" I cried wrapping my arms around her. Then I stopped crying suddenly, as I wanted chocolate. "Do we have any chocolate?" I asked all the adults in the room.

Nemi smiles. "I brought some."

I cried again at her words.

Gods I was emotional.

And crying a lot.

And in pain.

I just wanted to go to sleep at this point. I go to my raven-haired dad's arms. He wasn't here when I had first noticed everything so he was kinda left out.

Also knowing my blonde dad he probably stretched the story to where he might've thought I was dying.

He just rubbed my back soothingly and before I knew it I had fallen asleep standing up in his arms.

I was magic. Sleeping while standing up is pretty hard for most people, but I got the trait from my Dad. So might as well use it to its fullest potential.

Nemi and my dads conversed as she tried to fill them in on what they could do when this happened again. They took in the information like any good parent would and set on making me as comfortable as possible. I was honored to have them both as my parents. I even wanted to be a pro hero like them.

I would go to U.A. I would learn there. And I will become a pro.

But right now. All I wanted was some love and attention from my family, aunt Nemi left soon after, fully confident in my parents that they could take care of me from then on.
