Iidas POV

The fight between All Might and All for One was still going on. As time passed though, there seemed to be no clear way that the fight was going. In favor, or against.

Another thing that made me worried was that Bakugou and Kirishima haven't come back yet. If they both got taken all of our progress would be lost and then some.

I had a sneaking suspicion about what they were talking about though, Lily. The one person in our class that has completely changed from the beginning of the year, and made everyone hold their breath when she almost died on two occasions. If what I was thinking was correct, I could have an angry Bakugou coming after me soon.

Which didn't happen.

I saw a break in the crowd and saw Bakugou and Kirishima pushing through. Kirishima has a look of guilt ridden on his face while Bakugou's was completely still. As if he was still processing information.

Bakugou and I made eye contact, except he just looked away, nothing. He made no remark, he didn't use a nickname for me, he just simply acted as if I was just another person in the crowd. Which was uncharacteristic for him.

He stood next to Midoriya while Kirishima stood next to him, in between the both of us, ready if a fight broke out.

"I can't tell how he took the news." I whisper to the redhead.

"Not well. He's hasn't completely shut off his emotions, but he's not reacted the way I thought he would, it's scary dude. But also somehow manly that he's not worrying for now." I rolled my eyes.

The fight with All Might continued, the blows so large that it shook the ground beneath our feet, even when we were miles away from the main battle.

When the Symbol of Peace lost his form however, murmurs and panicked thoughts ran ramped. Midoriya's eyes lost their gleam, and was replaced with a look of horror. Even Bakugou who had been pretty silent this whole fight, started to get riled up.

"WIN ALL MIGHT!" The crowed bellowed, me along with them. Hoping to all gods that this was some sort of superstitious nightmare.

Only it wasn't, and soon enough the pillar that we all looked to for comfort, looked like he had lost... Just to stick his arm up and declare that he had won the battle before returning to his tiny form.

But that didn't mean he won the war.

The League of Villains was still out there. Their leader probably plotting to get revenge on us, the students or the faculty.

I watched as the now broken Symbol of Peace pointed straight into the cameras, speaking both chilling and encouraging words of comfort.

"Now... it's your turn.."

This was why I was becoming a hero. So that I could take my brothers place, keeping people safe even when the one thing they relied on most was destroyed. All Might was most likely going to retire, that means that the new generation of hero's was the next best option to keeping the world safe.

We were the future and now we had no other option but to accept that fact with open arms. Letting it take us where we needed to go with our fates.

I sighed, but gave a soft smile as I watched the Symbol of Peace work for the last time.
