"I.. I'm not certain if I like you but.. I wanna be with you too.."

She stood up and held my hand.

"Thank you Jennie."

T-thank you???

We hugged each other.

And that's how the day ended.

🌞 NEXT DAY

No training. I'd be stuck at the unit whole day using my phone as usual.

Surprisingly, someone knocked my door and I opened it.

"Jennie.."

"Ms. L-Lisa.."

She looked badly at me.

"L-Lisa I mean.. Sorry.."

"Do you want to go outside with me?"

Outside...?

"I wanted to buy some books..."

"Oh.. Okay.. Wait a minute.."

"I'll be waiting here."

Then I went outside of the unit.

I looked different as my training look.

"You look.. so beautiful today, Jennie.."

I just laughed.

We rode a bus and got to the library.

"Do you like books?"

She asked me while she was searching for a book and I'm behind her.

"No.. Not much.."

She didn't respond and got three books and placed it on the table.

We sat down facing each other.

"Which do you think I should buy among the three?"

I'm not a reader.. Why is she asking me..

"Uh.. I don't know.. Uh.. Maybe the one with the nicest cover?"

She laughed.

"You're making me pick through covers?"

"Well.. I haven't read any of them yet but.. They all look appealing in the eye.. So maybe it would encourage me to read them.."

"Then that's the answer."

What does she mean?

"What do you mean?"

"I'm buying the three of them."

She stood up but I grabbed her which made her sit down again.

"Think of it well first.."

"Why? You told me to pick the one with the nicest cover right?"

I nodded.

"What if I picked all three?"

"It's supposed to be the nicest.. Which means the best among the three of them, Lisa."

I argued but..

She stood and whispered something to me.

"I like the way you say my name."

Then she got the three books and paid on the counter while I was fvcking stuck in my chair shocked about what she said.

I think I said her name aggressively.

Fvck.

I went to the restroom for a few minutes.

Then went back to the library.

"Jennie!!"

She said with a loud voice.

"Shh.. We're in a library."

"Right.."

We went out.

"Dinner?"

She asked.

"At home?"

"Nope. My treat. Let's go."

She walked then I followed her.

We've reached the restaurant.

"What do you want to eat?"

She asked me.

"Uh.. Anything delicious?"

"Delicious then.. Maybe.. m* (e) -- Never mind."

She handed me the menu quickly.

"Anything you feel like eating?"

"Uh.. Maybe this.. And this?"

I pointed the menu.

"Okay, then I'll be taking that too."

She smiled to the waiter and gave our order.

Her side profile really looks pretty..

While waiting for the food we talked with each other.

"Where did you go a while ago by the way??"

"Just.. In the restroom."

I actually went because of what you said.. Uh..

"Oh.. Next time you should tell me!"

"But you were in line.."

"Give me your phone."

I gave it to her and she saved her number.

"Just message me."

"Why is it named like this?"

"So you'll know it's from me."

"But it could be Lisa only.."

"Do you love arguing with people?"

"N-no.. Not really but.. Pointing out stuffs. I guess yes?"

She sighed.

"I knew it."

"Knew it?"

"I just noticed it. Anyways, just change the name if you want to."

The food came.

We were just eating silently.

Then I asked her something..

"Lisa.."

"Yes?"

"About the trainees.. What happened?"

"Oh.. Right.. About that can you help me decide?"

What -- but I'm a trainee too..

"Why me? You should decide over it since you're the mentor.."

"You're arguing with me again?"

"N-no just.."

"Do you think I should let go of the lazy people?"

"I.. I don't think you should but that would lessen their passion in doing the training.."

"Right.."

"But the two other trainees has a valid reason.. Hmm sorry I couldn't say it to you because it's private."

Oh.. Yet she asked for my help? Facepalm.

"Thank you, Jennie."

She held my hand but I felt uneasy and removed it.

"You should be careful of your actions."

"Why?"

She looked around.

"Nobody's watching."

"Still.. Maybe someone would report it again."

She sighed.

"I wanna go home. Are you done eating?"

She asked.

"Yes.."


Then we went home. She went with me along my room and waited for me to open the door.

I thought she was already leaving but..

"Can I go in?"

She asked.

But it's already late asdfg --

This girl just couldn't get enough of me, right?

"O-okay.."

Funny how I still agreed in the end.

"What do you want to do? I'm really sleepy."

I said.

"Oh.. You should've told me."

"It's okay. I can endure."

I yawned.

"I just wanted to give you out one of the books."

We sat on the bed comfortably and she gave me one book.

"Why are you giving me this?"

"Try reading books, it's fun."

"Noo, I'll just feel sleepy!"

"You're not gonna listen to me again?"

I sighed.

"Fine, fine."

I yawned.

"Do you want to sleep now?"

"A little bit."

I said while placing half of my body under the blanket while leaning on the headboard.

"Aren't you sleepy?"

I asked.

"A little bit.."

She mimicked me.

Uh..

I lied down and did a side view looking at the other side.

While she was squatting on top of my bed.

"You wouldn't mind if I'm in your bed right? Are you conscious on cleanliness?"

What she saying...

"Just do whatever you want, I'll just be closing my eyes."

"And sleep?"

"And talk to you.."

"You're not going to sleep?"

"I'll try."

"Then.. I'll just read a bit then leave.."

She sat down leaning on the headboard and placed half of her body covered with the blanket.

She was silently reading a book.

And then I haven't noticed that I actually fell asleep.
