🌞 NEXT DAY

I came in a little late while Jisoo came in early.

The other trainees have already performed.

The four mentors were sitting in front in monoblock chairs to observe the performance.

Yeri finished performing.

It was almost our turn but Jisoo hasn't come back yet from the restroom.

Everything was already prepared. Drums, piano, flute and violin.

Where's Jisoo?? Omg??

Jisoo came back, just in time. We were already gonna perform after the ones who are performing now.

Jisoo was searching at her bag. She was on the floor.

"Jennie!"

She was panicking.

"Why??"

I looked at her.

"My flute.."

She looked at me.

"Your flute? Why?"

"It's gone.."

"What?? Did you forget it?"

"No!! It was here just a while ago!"

"Are you sure you brought it??"

"Of course!!"

Coach Rosé called us.

"Jisoo and Jennie it's your time to perform."

Where's Jisoo's flute???

Jisoo raised her concern.

"M-ms.. Rosé.. My flute.. It's gone.."

"What?? How could you not bring it on the day of your performance?" -Coach Dahyun

"I brought it.. But.."

I'm so nervous.. I looked at Lisa but she was staring coldly. As a mentor she had to be strict.

"I.. Can I play the piano instead?"

Jisoo offered.

"You practiced flute but you're playing the piano?" - Coach Rosé

"Y-yes.. If it's.. Ok--"

"Okay, play it." -Coach Nayeon

A relief. Thankfully coach Nayeon was there.

We already sat down the piano chair.

"You know how to play?"

I whispered to Jisoo.

"Yes..."

And then we started playing.

We created a good melody and we were impressed by each other while we were playing.

In the middle of our performance, Lisa went out.

She's supposed to watch me play! I should make her proud!

After our performance the crowd clapped.

We went back with the other trainees.

"Jisoo, I didn't know you were playing the piano well..."

"Yeah.. Uh, gosh! Where was my flute?!"

She looked at her bag and found it there.

"Jennie, it's here again!!"

"What??"

I looked at it.

"Is someone playing with you?!"

We saw Yeri looking at us. Grinning at us.

"It's probably her."

Jisoo said but I calmed her down.

Lisa came back already.

The performances were all finished.

The trainees went home and the other mentors as well.

But Jisoo and I haven't.

Jiso waited at the exit to confront Yeri about what happened so I couldn't go home because I was worried. She's so upset that I couldn't even stop her.

We were outside of the building.

She immediately pushed Yeri as soon as she saw her.

"It was you right??"

"Jisoo!"

I calmed her down.

"What are you talking about??"

She asked with a confused face.

I was holding Jisoo's arms so she couldn't do anything to Yeri.

"It was obviously you! Why were you playing with me??"

Jisoo removed my hand and went to Yeri.

She was so strong I couldn't grab her.

"I don't even know what you're talking about!"

Is she still pretending not to know about the flute?! I'm getting mad!!

"Shut up! If you're just jealous of us might as well just stop being a trainee because you won't succeed!"

"What?!"

Yeri and Jisoo grabbed each other's hair.

What am I supposed to do??

I tried to stop the both of them until Yeri start grabbing my hair as well.

What the f---

Suddenly someone grabbed Yeri's hand off from mine.

Lisa?? Thankfully.

"What's happening to the three of you?? Do you want a violation??"

They parted from each other.

Lisa placed me behind her. She was know looking at Yeri and Jisoo.

"You're still trainees but you're acting like this!"

"It's Jisoo's fault!"

Yeri was pointing out.

"What?!"

Jisoo was so mad.

"Can the both of you stop?? I'll report this to the head."

Omy.. Is she really??

She was about to go back to the building but Yeri grabbed her.

"Coach Lisa.. Don't..."

Lisa looked at her.

"Tell me what happened."

"It's.. my fault.."

Yeri suddenly confessed. Wtf??

Jisoo and I were surprised.

"Coach Lisa I won't do it again, promise."

What's gotten into her?!

"You should. This is a warning for you already. You may go now."

Yeri immediately went away.

Jisoo, Lisa and I were left together.

"Tell me what happened, in the cafe."

We went to the cafe and we sat down together.

The table has 4 single chairs on each sides. Lisa was in the center.

Jisoo explained what happened.

Lisa looked so disappointed about it.

"You should've told me she was bugging you all this time!" -L

"We didn't want to mess up with her..." -Ji

Lisa sighed.

"It's okay. I'll make a way for it to be solved. For now drink your coffee, it's my treat."

We bowed to her.

Later on, someone called Lisa on the phone and she left.
