Love At First Sight

Toni sighed, putting on her Gucci sweater and some jeans.

Toni is a billionaire. She works from home unless she needs to be in office (If she decides to)

Every morning she goes to her local Starbucks to get her usual coffee, little did she know her life was about to change.

"Mom. I got it, please, I'm 24!" Cheryl huffed as she talked on the phone with her worried mother.

"Yeah. I just finished unpacking some stuff. It's looking decent." Cheryl said looking around her one-bedroom apartment.

"Yes, mom. I know." Cheryl chuckled.

"Okay, Bye. Love you too." She sighed before hanging up.

Cheryl had just moved away from her hometown. Away from her family and friends.

She wanted to fresh start in California, meaning she'd have to work extra hard to get to that level.

Yes, she may start out at Starbucks, but they pay well.

"Okay, I have to get ready for work." Cheryl sighed.

Toni entered the Starbucks as Cheryl put on her apron. Toni approached the cashier, her eyes on her phone.

"Get me my usual." Toni spoke not looking up.

"Uh, What is that?" Cheryl asked, raising her brow at the brunette. 'Holy shit! That's Toni Topaz' Cheryl thought.

"You know..." Toni trailed off as she looked up.

Toni's heart started beating fast, her hands became clammy. She started to sweat, wiping her forehead.

"Uh, It's um, a latte with soy milk and whip cream." Toni stammered.

Cheryl nodded, placing the order in.

Toni couldn't take her eyes off of the beautiful redhead. It was like she was mesmerizing, she was like art at a museum. Stretch that, she is Art.

After about 5 minutes, Cheryl returned with her latte. "Here you go, Ms. Topaz." Cheryl smiled, reading the name off of the cup.

"Uh, T-Thank you." Toni smiled, turning to walk away.

Cheryl let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Did you see that?" One of her co-workers asked.

"Yeah, She was like staring into my soul." Cheryl chuckled.

"I'd watch out for her, Shes a player." The guy said, patting her back.

Cheryl nodded, taking the next order.

"Pea, She was so fucking gorgeous. I was just stuck." Toni sighed as she sat on the kitchen counter.

"Tones. Don't you think your pimp ways should, I don't know, end." Sweet pea shrugged.

Sweet pea was Toni's older brother, and her other Brother fangs were their youngest brother.

Toni sighed, Sweet pea was right. Her reputation was killing her vibe.

"Yeah. But I felt something so strong." Toni said, pointing to her chest.

"Like, I when I saw her, everything stopped. My heart started beating so fast, my hands became sweaty. I was literally stuttering. I just went into panic mode." Toni sighed.

"That my friend is what you call 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩." Sweet pea shrugged, eating the apple he had just cleaned off.

"No way! It's way too early for that." Toni nodded firmly.

"Oh please. Trust me, I'm the married one." Sweet pea rolled his eyes.

Sweet pea married his girlfriend of 5 years and now they have a daughter named Violet. She's is 4 years old.

"Okay, Yeah. But I don't know." Toni was becoming frustrated with her own feelings.

How can she not put together how she felt about someone? Maybe it was because she felt different. Different when she saw Cheryl.

Maybe it was love at first sight.
