Love At First Sight

Toni helped Cheryl into the hospital as Cheryl breathed heavily.

"My wife's gone into labor!" Toni called out.

The nurse rushed to get a wheelchair, letting Cheryl sit down so they could roll her into a room.

"You're doing fine, baby." Toni said as they put her onto a bed.

After everything calms down, Cheryl took her rightful nap while Toni contacted everyone to let them know that it was happening.

Cheryl groaned from her spot on the bed, turning to face Toni.

Toni got up from her seat, grabbing Cheryl's hand before softly kissing it.

"Are you okay?" Toni whispered.

"Mhm. Can I get some water?" The redhead asked.

"Yeah. I'll go get it." Toni nodded. She went to the vending machine next to the room's door.

Then quickly went back inside to her wife's side.

"Here you go." Toni smiled.

"Thank you, baby." Cheryl sighed before drinking some water.

Toni nodded, rubbing Cheryl's stomach softly.

"How are you feeling?" Toni asked.

"I'm okay right now, They're asleep." Cheryl sighed, looking up at her wife who caressed her cheek.

"You're the most strongest and beautiful person I've ever meet. Well, besides Leilani." Toni said.

Cheryl smiled, shaking her head playfully.

It's been 5 hours since Cheryl's water broke. She's been in and out of restless sleep.

Toni hated seeing her go through all of this, but it's apart of being pregnant.

The nurse entered the room to tell Toni it was time.

Toni nodded as they started to push Cheryl's bed into the birthing suite.

Toni exited the birthing suite to tell her family what happened.

Penelope stood up, "So...?

"T-they're here. And healthy, but uh, Cheryl she- there were complications, so they're working on her now." Toni was on the verge of crying.

How could this happen? This was supposed to be a good day, the 6th best day of her life. And now it's ruined.

Penelope pulled Toni into a hug as everyone did so too.

They weren't a religious family. But they prayed, they prayed every second they got.

After about 15 minutes of sitting in the waiting room, Toni went to go see the babies.

Toni entered the room that she and Cheryl were previously in. She went over to where they put them, smiling as she saw them asleep.

"You are so beautiful, Quinn." Toni smiled at her daughter.

The small girl's tiny fingers clasp onto Toni's finger and held it in a tight grip.

Toni can't even imagine having to raise Levi, Leilani, Serenity, Atlas, Quinn, and Wyatt by herself. Cheryl is the glue of the family. Without her, there wouldn't be a Topaz clan. Toni needed her, she needs her wife.

She turned to Wyatt who started to whine slightly. She gently picked him up, rocking him side to side.

He opened his eyes, taking in Toni's face, even though it was blurry to him. (fact: babies visions are blurry up until they turn around 2 months they could take in their parents or other people's faces)

"Don't you have the prettiest eyes. They look just like Atlas's." Toni said, fixing his little hat..

The nurses that were in the room with Cheryl and Toni smiled at the sight as they came to get Toni.

"Mrs. Topaz, if you could just step outside please?" The nurse asked.

Toni looked up, "Uh, yeah." Toni nodded, gently placing her son down.

Toni stepped outside, feeling Anxious about the news. Toni watched as they wheeled the baby's cribs into their room.

"She's awake and asking for you." The nurse smiled, getting Toni's attention.

"S-she is? Oh my God!" Toni smiled as tears started to spill.

"There were complications with exhaustion. She was so tired that her body shut down after pushing too much. She's healthy and nothing bad cause it." The nurse nodded.

"Oh thank God." Toni sighed in relief. Her phone was going up all night, it was Leilani asking if Cheryl was okay.

As Toni walked to the room, she dialed her daughter.

"Is mom okay? I've been worried ever since I got your text." The girl said soon as Toni called.

"Yes, baby. She's fine, she was just exhausted, that's all." Toni said.

The younger girl sighed of relief, "That's amazing. See you later! Love you, and mom."

"Love you too." Toni said before hanging up.

Toni entered the room with Cheryl holding Wyatt.

"He has Atlas's eyes." Cheryl whispered. Toni smiled, sitting beside her.

"How long was I out for?" Cheryl asked, looking up at Toni.

"About 2 hours. How are you feeling?" The woman answered.

"Great. And energized." Cheryl smiled.

Toni kissed her temple, "I thought I was going to lose you for a second, baby." Toni whispered.

"Never. I'm here." Cheryl smiled, pecking Toni's lips.

Toni nodded, so happy that Cheryl was okay.

Toni picked up Quinn before going to sit beside Cheryl on the bed as they look over their babies.

"She has a head full of hair." Cheryl giggled looking at the girl.

"I know. And it's ginger." Toni smirked.

Cheryl chuckled, looking down at Wyatt.

"Wyatt Owen Topaz and Quinn Rose Topaz. We are so good at naming our children." Cheryl giggled.

"Agreed." Toni nodded, kissing her cheek.

At this moment, they had no worries. Their family was now complete.

Heyy loves. I may take another break from writing, I'm kinda struggling with my mental health atm, hope you all understand.
