Cheryl double checked herself in the mirror, making sure she looked decent.
She was meeting Toni's family for the first time. She was super nervous.
Her phone chimed, snapping her out of her thoughts.
Baby🥰: I'm downstairs, beautiful💗
Cheryl: I'll be down
Cheryl grabbed her belongings, walking out of her apartment before locking it.
Cheryl smiled when she saw Toni, running up to her car in excitement.
Toni smiled, pecking Cheryl's lips. "Are you excited?" Toni asked noticing Cheryl's excitement.
"I'm nervous, but excited." Cheryl nodded.
Toni smiled, opening the car door for Cheryl.
Once the couple was in the car, Toni pulled off.
"Do you think they'd like me?" Cheryl asked nervously.
"I'm sure they will. My dad will definitely like you." Toni chuckled, making a turn.
"How come?" Cheryl asked.
"I may or may not have talked about you every chance I've got. And plus my dad is a very welcoming person." Toni nodded.
"What about your mom?" Cheryl asked.
Toni smirked. "My mom, She's a hard egg to crack."
"Oh, God." Cheryl panicked.
Toni grabbed her hand, interlacing their fingers, "Calm down beautiful, I'm sure they'll love you." Toni giggled.
That made Cheryl calm down. She took a few deep breaths.
She gots this.

Toni got out of the car, opening the door for Cheryl.
" Thanks, T." Cheryl kissed her cheek.
"Just leave your bag in there. My little cousins have sticky fingers." Toni whispered, placing her wallet, chain, and watch in her car.
Cheryl did the same, letting Toni lead her toward the house.
Her nerves started to rush back. Toni stopped as she felt the girl beside her tense.
"Mamas, I'm sure everyone will love you." Toni said.
Cheryl smiled at the pet name Toni just called her.
"Okay. I'm ready." Cheryl nodded after taking deep breaths.
Toni smiled, leading Cheryl into the house.
They were greeted by Toni's 4-year-old niece.
"Auntie Toni!" She cheered, jumping into Toni's arms.
Toni picked her up with a giggle, "Hey gorgeous, Where's daddy?" Toni asked.
"In the back yard with grammy and grampa." She said.
"Who's that?" Violet asked.
"Well, Violet. this is my girlfriend, Cheryl. Cheryl, this is my 4-year-old niece, Violet. Sweetpea's daughter." Toni introduced the girls.
"Your very pretty, Cheryl." The small brunette smiled at her.
"Thank you, Violet. So are you." Cheryl giggled.
"Okay, let's go meet everyone else." Toni smiled, grabbing Cheryl's hand as she carried Violet out into the backyard.
"Look who finally decided to join us." Toni's father joked.
