Serenity's first words and steps

"Guys, Come on. The cookout started already!" Toni called as she carried 10-month-old Serenity.

Cheryl walked out with Leilani and Levi before locking the door.

Toni's childhood friend invited her to a cookout she was throwing, so Toni went tagging her family along with her.

"Toni!" The man called.

"Mat!" Toni smiled, giving him a side hug since she was holding Serenity.

"It's been 10 years!" He chuckled.

"I know." Toni smiled as Cheryl, Levi, and Leilani walked up to them.

"Oh. Mat, This is my wife Cheryl." Toni smiled.

"Nice to meet you." He shook the redhead's hand.

"And This is my first born, Levi and Leilani. Then you have my baby, Serenity." Toni chuckled.

"Hey." He smiled at the twins who were to busy looking at the bouncy house.

"Oh. You can go in if you like, my son is in there." He said.

Levi nodded, running over to the balloon.

Leilani didn't follow, staying with Toni and Cheryl.

"Lei, you don't want to go play?" Toni asked.

"No." Leilani shook her head, clinging onto Toni's side.

"Okay, You don't have too." Cheryl said, rubbing her back.

"We'll be over there, Matthew." Toni said before leading her girl's to the seats.

"Mama. I'm gonna go with Levi now." Leilani said.

"Okay, Princess." Toni smiled, watching as the girl ran off.

"Told you she'd warm up." Cheryl chuckled as she picked up Serenity who was pulling out grass.

"Wait, put her back down. Let's see if she walks." Toni said.

Cheryl shrugged, playing the girl down.

She fell on her butt, getting back up as she waddled her way over to a flower.

"Cher!" Toni chuckled watching as she pulled it up.

"Mommy." She said, handing Cheryl the flower.

"Serenity grace! You just had your first steps and words!" Cheryl cheered, picking the confused girl up.

Cheryl showered her with kisses, making the light-skinned girl squirm.

"No!" Serenity said, trying to get out of Cheryl's grasp.

"Your so smart baby!" Cheryl smiled.

"Mama!" The girl cried, reaching for Toni.

Toni chuckled, taking the girl from her mother.

"Say bad mommy!" Toni fake pouted.

"Bad monkey!" The girl tried to repeat making Toni and Cheryl laugh.

The couple entered the house with sleepy children and one sleeping baby.

"Get into bed." Cheryl yawned as the twins nodded, reminded themselves to shower when they wake up.

Toni laud Serenity in her crib, shutting the light off before leaving the room.

Just a filler.

Any ideas? Nothing I did before or nothing too crazy...
