Toni and the job interviewer walked into Toni's home office.

"Now, she's very hard-working, and really wants to become a professor." Toni smiled.

"Well, I'll interview her. Were looking for some good some potential, Toni." He said.

"I know. Trust me, she's amazing." Toni said.

"Okay, well, bring her over.

"I'll get her now." Toni nodded, going into her backyard.

"Baby, your surprise is here." Toni smiled.

"Why would you tell me to dress so professional if we're only gonna be at your house?" Cheryl asked.

"You'll see. Do you have your portfolio?" Toni asked.

"Mhm. Why?" She asked.

"Come on, beautiful." Toni smiled, holding her hand out.

Cheryl took her hand, letting Toni pull her into her office.

"This is Cheryl." Toni smiled.

"Hello, Cheryl. I'm Derrick Williams, I will be interviewing you for a job as a professor at my college." He smiled.

"Hi. Oh my God, your much more awesome in person." Cheryl smiled.

"Well, thank you. Toni here are good friends with me, and if she says your great, then I'm here." He smiled.

"Knock 'em dead, babe." Toni whispered, kissing her cheek before leaving the room and closing the door behind her.

Cheryl took a seat in front of him.

"Do you have your portfolio?" He asked.

"Yep. It's all here." Cheryl smiled, placing it in front of him.

He gave an impressive smile.

"So, how patient are you with kids?" He asked.

"Very. I used to teach high school back in my hometown." Cheryl said.

"Where is that?" he asked, "If you don't mind me asking." He added.

"Oh, it's not a problem. I was born and raised in Riverdale." Cheryl smiled.

"Really? So was I." He nodded.

"Cool." Cheryl smiled.

"Okay, So what subject are you weakest in?" He asked.

"None actually." Cheryl nodded.

"Mmm. Impressive. So if I was to give you a test, would you ace it?" He asked.

"With my eyes closed." Cheryl smirked.

"Amazing." He smiled.

He liked that Cheryl was very confident and easy-going.

"Love kids?" He asked.

"I believe that they are our future." Cheryl smiled.

"Wow. Your really great." He smiled.

"Toni! Toni! I got the job! I'm gonna be a French teacher at the best college in LA!" Cheryl squealed. "I start next year!" She added.

Toni jumped up from her spot in her chair. "Oh my God! I'm so happy for you!" Toni said, spinning her around.

"I love you so much, Toni." Cheryl said, letting it slip out.

Toni smiled, "I love you more." Toni said, leaning in to kiss her.

"More than you could ever imagine." Toni whispered in between kisses.

"How about we go celebrate with some ice cream?" Toni asked.

"Yes! But I want to change." Cheryl said, looking down at her clothes.

"You can wear mine." Toni smirked.

"I'd be honored too." Cheryl giggled, pecking Toni's lips again.

"Can I please get two sundaes?" Toni asked, pulling out her credit card.

"Wait, babe. I can pay for myself." Cheryl objected.

"Mamas, no. We're not arguing over this." Toni said, handing the woman her credit card.

Cheryl nodded with a small pout to which Toni pecked away.

After the girl's got their sundaes, they went to sit down.

"You don't get annoyed when people record or take pictures of you?" Cheryl asked.

"No, I'm used to it now." Toni shrugged. "Plus, now the world could see how lucky I am." She added with a smirk.

Cheryl blushed with a giggle. "Thank you for getting me that interview. My mom is going to be so happy when I tell her." Cheryl smiled.

"No problem, beautiful." Toni smiled.

"Oh my God! I forgot to tell my mom." Cheryl remembered, pulling her phone out if her-Toni's-sweater.

Toni chuckled with a smile.
