Cheryl takes control

Cheryl held Serenity as she poured some juice into her bottle before handing it to her.

The small girl took the Pacifier out of her mouth before putting the bottle in her mouth.

Toni was going to be out all day since she had to work on a song for Shawn Mendes.

Cheryl grabbed her keys before walking out so she can pick up the twins from school.

She entered the school, sighing when she saw that she was on time.

"Levi and Leilani Topaz." She told the lady at the desk.

"Good evening, Mrs. Topaz." The woman smiled.

Cheryl nodded with a smile as she put Serenity's pacifier in her mouth.

The woman called upstairs for the twins. No less than 5 minutes later a new teacher walked downstairs with the twins. The teacher was a teacher's assistant.

"Mommy!" The twins cheered, running up to her.

"Hey, Babes." Cheryl smiled.

"Are you their mother?" The teacher asked.

"Yes? Is there something wrong?" Cheryl asked.

"There was an incident in a class where one of the students targeted Leilani for having two mothers." He said.

"What?" Cheryl asked, looming down at Leilani who just shrugged sadly.

"I'd like to speak to someone, please." Cheryl nodded.

Levi clutched his fist, ready to knock anybody out.

"Yes. Of course, right this way." The woman at the desk said.

"Just get here, if you can." Cheryl told Toni.

"Alright, mamas. I'll be there as fast as I can." Toni said.

Cheryl hung up as the student walked into the office.

Cheryl rubbed Levi's back as she saw him about to blow up on the kid.

"Adonis. Do you know why you're here?" The principal asked.

"No." The 2nd grader shook his head.

"You said some pretty homophobic things to Leilani." She raised her brow.

"O-Oh. Was that bad?" The boy asked, looking at Leilani who looked down.

"Yes. That's bullying. Just because She has two moms, who care for her dearly, doesn't mean she any less human. Do you understand?" The woman said sternly.

"I-I'm sorry." He mumbled.

"It's not okay." Levi snapped.

"Levi, Calm down." Toni said as she entered the office.

"Mama!" Leilani ran to Toni who pickedher up.

"What's the problem here?" Toni asked, looking at the principal.

"This student targeted your daughter because she has two moms." She explained.

Toni stared at the boy who looked down ashamed.

Toni could tell that he didn't know any better, she sighed.

"Who told you that it was okay to say those things?" Toni asked as Levi clutched his jaw at the boy.

He wants to pounce on him so badly but Cheryl was holding him back.

"My-my parents. I-I didn't know. I swear." The boy said.

"Well, let me tell you something." Cheryl said taking control.

She handed serenity to Toni who was now holding both her daughters and trying to control a very angry Levi.

"Now, your parents may be homophobic, but being gay isn't a bad thing. It's very much okay to be gay. Maybe when you grow up you'd like boys, it's something that you can't control. I want you to always remember that, okay?" Cheryl asked the boy.

"Yes ma'am." He smiled, giving Cheryl a high five.

"I could've handled him." Levi growled, cracking his Knuckles.

"Levi, not everything should end in violence." Toni warned.

"It's okay, Lev. I'm okay." Leilani told her very overprotective brother.

"I- Fine." He mumbled.

"How about we go get some frozen yogurt?" Toni asked as they loaded into the car.

Toni walked from the studio since it wasn't too far.

"Sounds awesome!" Levi smiled, giving Leilani a high five as Serenity smiled at Toni who chuckled at her kid's reactions.

"Frozen yogurt it Is." Cheryl smiles, interlacing her fingers with her wife's.
