Five hours later (At the cabin)

Amelia's POV

"Amelia wake up," Archie whispered to me, shaking my arm. I opened my eyes and yawned.

"Are we at the cabin?" I asked, looking out the windshield. It was dark and I couldn't see anything.

"Yeah," Archie answered. He nodded to the back with a small smile. I looked into the back to see Channing and Serenity twitching in their sleep with dreaming smiles on their faces. And in the far back Ashur was curled up into Miles with his face in Miles' neck and Miles had his arms around Ashur.

"Aw, they look so cute," I whispered. Then I looked at Archie with an evil look. "Let's wake them up."

Archie nodded and smirked. I pointed to the horn and he leaned against it. Channing and Serenity woke up looking confused. Ashur woke up with a yelp and then started whimpering. I punch Archie in the arm, making him stop. Miles woke up, growling, and he pulled Ashur closer to him. He shot us a death glare, making us get out of the van quickly. We opened the back of the van, grabbed our bags, and then ran to the cabin.

Miles' POV

'Stupid assholes,' I thought angerly. Ashur cried out with another yelp when Serenity and Channing closed their doors.

"Sorry," Serenity whispered as they grabbed their bags.

"Why is he like this?" I asked as Ashur started to shake. Serenity and Channing shared a look.

"He's mainly fighting to trust you," Channing explained. "His wolf wants to trust you, but his instincts are telling him not to."

"It's also because that man scared him so much that he doesn't know how to handle it," Serenity added. "We're going to go inside. Just remember, he will tell you about James when he is ready, don't push it."

I sighed as they walked to the cabin. I sat there looking at Ashur's shaking figure for a few minutes.

"I forgot something," Serenity said from behind me, making me jump. "When he has these kinds of scares, he sometimes goes into heat for two days. Just thought I should tell you."

She winked and then went back to the cabin. I shook my head.

"Can we go to bed?" Ashur asked.

"Yeah."

After getting their bags and heading inside

"Miles there's a problem," Amelia said as soon as Ashur and I got inside. "There are only three bedrooms."

"Are there two beds in each?" I asked trying not to growl. She shook her head apologetically. I sighed.

"Serenity and I can share a room," Channing said as he walked out of the kitchen. Ashur pulled on my sleeve.

"I want to stay with you," He whimpered.

"Alright. Amelia are you okay with sharing a room with Archie?" I asked.

"Yeah, but the first time he tries to cuddle with me he's sleeping on the floor," She answered. She grabbed her bag and went down the hall to her bedroom.

I quickly carried Ashur's and my bags to our room. When I got back to the living room Ashur was on the verge of tears. Serenity and Channing kept trying to comfort him, but he hid from them, growling.

"This isn't how he normally acts during these kinds of scares," Serenity said as Ashur ran to me.

"We're soulmates," I whispered. "And his wolf knows, but he's trying not to agree."

"I want to go to bed," Ashur whimpered, pulling on my hoodie. I picked him up and carried him to our room.

"We need to change first," I whispered. He pouted but nodded. I set him down and opened our bags. I pulled off my hoodie as I looked through our clothes. Ashur sat down next to me and grabbed one of my other hoodies. He smiled and pulled off his hoodie and shirt. I noticed a few scars on his chest and stomach before he pulled on my hoodie. 'I'll try to look at them in the morning.' I couldn't look away as he got up. 'Oh, Moon Goddess, why does he have to be cute in my hoodie?'

I ditched the idea of finding clothes to wear and picked Ashur up

I ditched the idea of finding clothes to wear and picked Ashur up. I set him on the bed and then I remembered our shoes. I pulled off Ashur's shoes and pulled off mine before I climbed into bed next to Ashur. He curled up into my chest and sighed. 'I wish I knew if it's your wolf or you who is accepting me.' I slowly drifted to sleep while petting Ashur's head.
