Ashur's POV

"How was the trip?" Mom asked on the drive from the packs' meeting spot.

"It was great," I answered. "There are somethings we need to talk about."

"What is it, baby?" Mom worriedly glanced at me.

"With Dad."

At Moon pack house

"Great you're back," Dad said from his office. "We need to talk about tonight."

"Not yet," I said walking in. Mom and he looked at me surprised.

"Are you talking back?" Dad growled.

"Noah," Mom warned, placing her hand on his arm.

"We need to talk," I said unfazed. Dad and I stared each other down as I started. "I found my mate."

"That's great," Mom cheered. "Who is it?"

"Miles McCarthy," I answered with a smirk. Dad's jaw muscles twitched. "Or should I say my childhood best friend, Mi."

"How did you get your memories back?" Dad bellowed.

"That's only for me to know," I said sourly. "Why would you believe he did it?"

"Because he was there, and James told us what happened." Dad was growing impatient with me.

"That's what you think," I laughed.

"What do you mean, baby?" Mom asked, concerned. 'She will be so shocked. I'm sorry Mom,' I thought bitterly.

"I don't run into my door or other things, and I have never fallen down the stairs either. No, I have been abused every day by an Alpha, the same Alpha that beaten me so badly I lost some of my memories," I explained. Mom gasped and held on to Dad's arm tighter. Dad grew angrier by the second.

"Who is it?" He growled. Mom's eyes started to fill with tears.

"James," I said simply. Dad growled. "You threw the wrong person out of my life. The one who would have protected me no matter what." Tears streamed down my cheeks. "The one I love and trust."

Dad and Mom stayed silent, from shock or realization, I didn't care to find out. "I'm going to Blaze pack, to stay. Emma will lead Moon pack when she comes to age because I'm going to be Miles' and Blaze pack's Luna."

'Ford I'm ready to go,' I thought to him. He was waiting somewhere outside the pack house in his truck, with Riley and Amy.

Within seconds he was by my side. My parents looked at him with shock.

"Thank Moon goddess, you're ready. Riley and Amy can hardly sit still, and I want to get back to Channing," Ford complained. I rolled my eyes and led the way out of the office and the pack house.

As soon as I got into the truck, Amy was in my lap and Riley was hugging me.

"We missed you," they said.

"It hasn't even been an hour since you last saw me, but I missed you too," I said as Ford and I chuckled.

"So, um... Miles and I have been talking," I started as Ford started the truck.

"The answer is yes," Ford said.

I blinked. "Huh?"

"Yes," He said again.

"How do you even know what I was going to ask?" I asked bewildered. Riley and Amy looked back and forth between us, trying to figure out what was happening.

"I heard you asking Miles the question last night. And I thought about it and decided yes because it is a good idea," Ford explained.

"What question?" Amy asked.

"How would you like to be adopted by Miles and Ashur?" Ford asked back.

"Yes!" They squealed, wide eyed. Ford chuckled.

"I wouldn't call it adoption more like taking in and caring for them," I said with a smile. 'I'm happy Ford agrees, but...' "Why do you think it's a good idea, wouldn't you want them to stay with you?"

"I knew you would ask that," Ford chuckled. Then he sighed. "Channing and I talked about it too, and we agreed that they will be more likely to be accepted into Blaze pack than Aqua pack. Because Blaze pack will be taking them in under Miles care instead as siblings of a rogue. And they love you more than you might think. They'll have a better life with you and Miles than with me. Besides it's not like I'll never see them again."

"Miles and I will treat them like our own kids," I whispered with tears in my eyes.

"I wouldn't doubt it."

"You are the best brother they could have asked for."

"I wouldn't say that."
