Brother?

Serenity's POV

"Asher!" I snarled. He had stopped moving after I said Miles would die without his help. 'Great now I have to do the one thing I hate doing.' I stood up from where I was kneeling, I walked over to Archie and Ashur, I lifted Ashur's chin, and then I smacked him.

"What the hell?" Archie and Amelia said in surprise. Ford gabbed at me as Channing shook his head. Ashur looked up and met my eyes.

"You back now?" I asked.

"Y-yeah," He stuttered. I nodded and dragged him over to Miles. "Are you sure my healing powers are strong enough to heal the wounds?"

"It's worth the try," I answered as we kneeled beside Miles. I placed my hands on Miles' chest and stomach while Ashur placed his hands on Miles' neck and face. I looked up at Ashur and asked, "You ready?"

He nodded and closed his eyes. I closed my eyes, too, and started to focus on the thought of healing the wounds.

Archie's POV

"How long is this going to take?" Ford asked.

"At least 10 minutes," Amelia answered. She walked to the couch and sat down, lazily. I leaned my back against the door with a sigh.

"What do we do while we wait?" I asked.

"We should probably make dinner, since once they're done healing Miles, they'll be hungry," Channing said. He started towards the kitchen. "Amelia you're helping."

Amelia groaned but followed him into the kitchen, leaving Ford and I alone.

"So... how are you?" Ford asked awkwardly. 'This is going to be an awkward talk,' I thought. 'That's what you get for never talking to him,' Elektra said. 'Oh, thanks. Didn't know that.'

"Cerberus," A boy whispered from the hallway. 'Yes! Saved by a child,' I cheered. 'Wait, a child?' I looked over to the hallway to see a boy about nine years old.

"Riley?" Ford asked, surprised. The boy looked at Ford in shook.

"Brother?" Riley asked. 'Brother?' Elektra asked me. Riley ran to Ford, fling himself into Ford's arms.

"What are you doing here? Is Amy with you?" Ford asked hugging Riley close.

"Amy's in Cerberus' room, sleeping," Riley answered with tears running down his face.

"You mean Ashur," Ford corrected. Riley looked at him confused. "Cerberus is Ashur's wolf, so his name is really Ashur. But why are-"

Ashur screamed bloody murder and fell over, cutting Ford off.

"What happened?" Channing asked running out of the kitchen with Amelia right behind him.

"Ashur screamed and then fell over," I answered.

"That's all we can do for now," Serenity said leaning back on her heels. We all stared at her in shock. "What?"

"How are you okay while Ashur fell over after screaming?" Ford asked.

"What?" Serenity yelled looking at Ashur. She quickly checked his pulse and then sighed. "He's fine, he must of saw something from the fight that shocked him, so he passed out."

"And that's normal?" Amelia asked with a concerned look.

"Yeah, it happens all the time when people don't use their healing powers all the time," Serenity explained. "Ashur only uses his healing powers on himself and sometimes his sister."

"So, when will he wake up?" I asked quietly.

"When Miles wakes up," Serenity answered. She looked away before adding, "Or when Miles dies."
