Miles' POV

"Promise me you won't kick Ford out or be mad at him and Channing," Ashur whispered after I laid him down. "Channing has always dreamed of meeting his soulmate, and I don't want to be the reason he can't see him all the time."

"Of course, my love," I whispered. I kissed his forehead and pulled the covers over him. "Get some sleep. I'll be back soon."

Ashur nodded slightly with a sleepy smile. 'You're so cute,' I thought before leaving the room.

"Miles," Amelia whispered from behind me as I was carefully closing the door. I turned to find Amelia and Archie standing behind me.

"Yes?" I asked as I looked at them. They shared a quick glance before Archie stepped forward and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Please think before you go back in the living room," He whispered, looking me in the eyes.

"I know what I'm doing," I said, removing his hand from my shoulder. I looked at Amelia and asked, "How is it looking in there?"

"Channing is crying and close to tearing the cabin apart. Ford is holding him and trying to calm him. Serenity didn't know what to do, so she started to unpack the food," Amelia answered. Archie nodded.

"Thank you," I said with a little nod. I walked into the living room with Amelia and Archie right behind me. "Channing."

Channing looked over at me, his brown eyes red from crying, with a sad look. Ford nodded to me with a small smile.

"Channing, I-," I started before Channing pushed away from Ford and yelled,

"Don't it please! He's different! I promise! Please don't be mad..."

He fell to his knees, crying. I walked over to him and knelt down in front of him.

"I'm not mad. I have no reason to be mad," I whispered as I pulled him into a hug. "I'm not going to kick him out, it's not the right thing to do. You're soulmates, you are meant to be together. I don't know what I would do without Ashur. I would die or his safety and his well-being. I understand this is what you have waited for, your soulmate. Channing you deserve to be happy. He can stay."

"Thank you," Channing whimpered. He pulled away from my hug to look into my eyes. "What about Ashur?"

"That was Cerberus saying those things beforehand. Before I came out here Ashur made me promise not to kick out Ford or to be made at you and Ford. I wasn't planning to, but he knows how much your soulmate means to you and he doesn't want to be the reason you're not happy," I answered. Channing smiled and then ran to Ford to hug him.

"Thank you," Ford whispered as I stood up. I nodded at him with a smile.

"Ok, now that Ford is staying with us, what's the plan for the sleeping arrangement?" Serenity asked walking out of the kitchen.

"I'll sleep on the couch for now," Ford said, blushing.

"Looks like we don't have to change it until they are ready to," I said. Serenity stuck her tongue out at Channing and then walked back into the kitchen. "I'm going back to Ashur now."

"Ok. I'm going to start making dinner, so I'll come get you two when it's ready," Serenity called from the kitchen. "Amelia Lynn Griffin! You are helping!"

Amelia stopped mid sneaking away. She sighed and dragged her feet as she walked to the kitchen. "Damn woman," She mumbled.

"I can hear you!"

I laughed as Amelia rolled her eyes. Archie shook his head and grabbed the keys.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"A quick drive," Archie answered. "I need to clear my mind."

I nodded and then went to my room. I found Ashur passed out. I smiled as I laid down next to him. "You're so cute."
