What Happened?

1:00 pm

Ashur's POV

"We're back!" Serenity yelled as they carried bags in. Miles and I were laying on the couch watching Two Broke Girls.

"Nova you won't believe who I met today," Channing said excitedly as he set his bags down. "I'll go get him and bring him in."

Miles and I shared a puzzled look as Channing ran out of the cabin. A minute later he dragged in an Alpha with brown hair. 'Run!' Cerberus yelled. I jumped up and ran to the backdoor.

"Ashur!" Miles and Channing yelled from behind me. I threw open the door and ran as fast as I could into the woods.

"Why are we running?" I asked Cerberus. 'He's a rogue,' Cerberus answered. I stopped and looked into the sky. "No."

Then everything went dark.

Miles' POV

"Ashur!" Channing and I yelled as Ashur opened the backdoor. 'We need to go after him,' Thor said. I sprinted after Ashur; I could barely hear the others yelling at me. I followed Ashur into the woods.

"Why are we running?" I heard Ashur ask. Then he stopped running. "No."

"Ashur!" I yelled as he dropped. I picked him up and ran back to the cabin.

"What the hell happened?" Serenity screamed when I busted through the door.

"He just dropped," I answered. Amelia and Archie tried to take Ashur from my arms. "No!"

Ashur whimpered and hid his face into the crook of my neck. I growled at Amelia and Archie as they tried to take Ashur again and as I sat down on the ground.

"Guys stop," Serenity said with a sigh. "You're not going to be able to get him away from Miles, they're mates now. Ashur will be fine anyways. Something just scared him. Like what happened yesterday, but not as bad."

"Do you think it was because of Ford?" Channing asked. Serenity looked over at this Ford guy.

"You're a rogue, aren't you?" Serenity asked. I growled at the mentioning of a rogue. "Miles, shut up."

"Yes, I'm a rogue," Ford answered. Channing hugged him and glared at Serenity.

"Then that explains it," Serenity said. She turned back to me and Ashur. I growled as she knelt in front of us. "Will you just shut up?"

She closed her eyes and touched Ashur's forehead. The contact glowed white and then faded away. Ashur's grey eyes opened as Serenity got up.

"What happened?" Ashur asked. I whimpered and buried my face into his hair. "Miles?"

"You passed out after you ran away," Amelia explained.

"You saw Ford and ran," Channing whimpered. Ashur started to shake, so I hugged him tighter.

"Rogue," Ashur whimpered. "Must run."

"Cerberus he's different. HE IS NOT JAMES!" Channing growled. Channing pulled away from Ford and sat down in front of us. "You have Miles now. He will keep you safe. James will never hurt you again. No one will hurt you again. And Ford will not hurt you, he is my soulmate."

"Miles," Ashur whispered, or I guess Cerberus. I lift my head to see Ashur looking up at me. Tears started to form in his eyes. I hugged him to my chest.

"Hey it's okay," I whispered. Ashur started to sob into my hoodie. "I'm going take him to bed for now. When I get back, we will talk about Ford."
