Miles walked into the kitchen with a whimpering Ashur. 'Poor Ashur,' I thought sadly.
"What's our plan?" Serenity asked as she laid her arm over my shoulders.
"What do you mean?" Miles asked.
"I mean what's our plan for today, stupid," Serenity answered while rolling her eyes.
"Someone needs to go to the near by town to get food," Amelia said. We looked at her confused, so she opened one of the cabinets and it was empty. "There's nothing but a few dishes. Also, this doesn't seem like a pack cabin, it's way too small."
"It's the Leader and family cabin," Miles said with a yawn. "I didn't think much into it when my dad gave me the address. The pack cabin is about 2 miles away. And the lake is called Minnow Lake. The town you're going to want to go to is called Minnow Lake Memorial."
"That's a weird name for a town, but okay," Amelia said. "Who wants to go with me?"
"Channing and I will," Serenity answered. 'Of course, she volunteers me.'
"I'm going to stay here with Ashur," Miles said before leaving the kitchen.
"I should probably stay with them," Archie said.
In town
"That looks like a store," I said pointing to a small brown building. Amelia pulled into the parking lot with a sharp turn. "Wow, you drive like a maniac."
She stuck her tongue out at me and got out. Serenity and I got out, too, and followed her into the store.
'Mate!' Rolo yelled.
'What?' I asked stopping. Serenity stopped, too, and looked at me with concern.
'Our mate is here!' Rolo said excitedly.
"Mate!" Someone growled as they tackled me to the ground. I turned around in their grasp to see what they looked like. 'Oh...'
