Betty's pov
"Juggy, we're going to be late!" I'm in the kitchen wiping down the bench and Jughead comes running down the stairs with Emily on his hip and she is hysterical. "Stop daddy!!" She's been grumpy all afternoon yesterday and this morning because I made her go to pre-school yesterday. "Bear, we are not taking you to pre-school today. You are coming with mommy and daddy, ok." "No, you lie!" She screams. I roll my eyes at Jug and we walk down to the car. He puts Emily in her car seat where she is screaming, yelling and trying to get out of it. As we pull up to the bar she calms down a little, so Jug lets her out of her car seat and she runs inside. He comes around and slings his arm around me. We walk inside and Emily is sitting on the pool table talking to some serpents. As I am about to get out of Jugs hold and behind the bar, he keeps his arms firmly in position and we walk upstairs casually. We enter his office and he locks the door. He turns to me and says, "It's been too long." He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his torso, and passionately kiss him. Somehow, we end up naked on his desk, and extremely out of breath.

I walk back downstairs, defiantly looking somewhat slutty. My cheeks were flushed, my lips pink and a small limp presided in my step. I get a few inappropriate gestures from sweet pea which I just flip him off for. Emily sees me and runs up and jumps onto me. She crushes into my breasts and I wince from the pain Jughead left me with. A pain that was very much worth it. I fill up a glass with water for Emily, pick her up and place her on the bar. I reach under the counter and pull out an animal colouring book and crayons. While Emily busies herself, I talk to some serpents and then pull out my phone to text Veronica, when Penny Peabody walks into the bar. I'm on the opposite side of the room from Emily and no serpents make any sudden moves to alert Penny of Emily's existence. She notices the stunned looks on some of the serpents faces and walks further into the room. She does even notice the small child sitting on the bar. Jughead walks downstairs and Emily turns her head and yells, "Daddy!"

Jugheads pov

Emily yells my name, and I notice the sly smile that comes across Penny's face when she makes the realisation that Emily is my child. She extends her arm and picks Emily up. "Hello," Emily says politely to her. "Penny. I suggest you put the child down now," Betty says walking through the crowd of serpents. I can tell Betty is beyond worried, but she is trying to keep it together. "Penny. Let her go," I back Betty up. "You knocked Blondy up. Jones. How could you be so stupid?! You of all people shouldn't have brought a child into this world... Your world." She laughs a little, Betty takes a step forward and tells Emily, "Close your eyes." "Are we play, hidey seeky?" Emily asks Betty. "No Bear. You need to close your eyes though." I'm confused where Betty is going with this, but Emily closes her eyes and Bettys punches Penny in the face. Penny drops to the ground and Betty swiftly grabs Emily. Taking a few steps back into my hold. I gesture for two serpents to take Penny down to the basement and away from Emily. I walk Betty and Emily upstairs. As soon as I lock the door, Betty says, "Emily and I have to go away again Jug." "No, you don't. We will never let Penny tell anyone." "It's not her I'm worried about," Betty says and I look at her strangely, so she continues, "when I was standing in the far corner window, Penny had two ghoulies behind her, who were watching everything. They have definitely gone back and told them that Emily exists." I swallow a large soreness in my throat, I can't let Betty leave again. "You're not going," I say. She was about to protest but I hold up my finger to silence her, "We are all leaving... for a vacation. One week away to somewhere remote until I can think of a long term solution." Betty doesn't seem to mind the idea so I continue, "Go home, take the car and pack the bags. I will call in my dad and he can run the serpents for a few days. Then by tonight, we will leave." "Where?" Betty asks me.
