Bettys pov
I'm two months pregnant and Jughead and I are still the only two people, aside from Veronica, who knows about the pregnancy. After dropping Emily at school, Jug and I arrive at the bar. I'm still not showing, so I can get away with my usual attire. I walk behind the bar as does Jug. I pull out my notepad and begin taking inventory while he rubs my shoulders. After about three minutes I say to him, "Jugggyyy. You have to stop. Whatever you are doing is making me super horny." He chuckles and slides his hands down my back to my waist. Then slowly turns me around. "How about now?" he asks seductively. I lick my lips and lean in for a kiss only to pull back at the last second teasingly. But he wasn't having it. He smashes his lips against mine as if only to fuel our carnal defiance. I throw my legs around his waist to penetrate the kiss even further. He begins to walk out from behind the bar, still with my body wrapped around his. All the serpents are looking at us grinning and I smile and bury my face into his shoulder as he walks us both up the stairs and into his bedroom.

After an hour of vigorous love, I return downstairs looking freshly fucked and prepared to face a new day.

Emily's pov

Ever since I started Riverdale high, everything seems happier and better. I'm with my friends, I've made new friends, my advanced education at stonewall has put me academically ahead of the rest of the class, and my relationship with Jamie has shifted. We have become more intimate. I lay on his lap in the common room or he traces his finger on my shoulder. It's nothing sexual, just different. I am in physics right now and Ms Clump is talking about thermodynamics. No one at this school knows that my dad runs the serpents, aside from my friends of course. Technically, non of my friends and I are official serpents because we are underage. But, I'm already in and they are all jr members. My twin cousins Jayden and Willow Blossom-Topaz are also in my year, and though neither of them are serpents, we all hang out a little. Jamie was jealous when I started hanging out with Jayden, and when he was told that we were cousins, the embarrassed look on his face was priceless.

Suddenly we hear two loud sounds come from down the hall. The confused looks on people faces portrayed their innocence and unfamiliarity. I however had many times heard the sound. it was a gunshot. "Mrs that a gun!" I yell. She looks at me angrily, and stubbornly replies, "Don't joke around with things like that Emily. It is a serious sub-" She is cut off by another shot. A closer one. In an instant, everyone had their phones out and was either texting or calling. This was a disaster. Despite us all knowing the protocol, the room erupted into chaos, and the teaches best efforts to calm everyone down once again into silence was ineffective. Ms Clump was frantically holding paper and telling everyone to be quiet and get into the corner. It was no use, everyone had erupted into frenzies of, 'mum come pick me up!', 'please help, we are going to die', and saddest of all, the occasional, 'I love you, please don't forget me, but please don't be sad for me'. I had forgotten my phone in my locker. Millie, a girl I had sat next to in science since I arrived looked at me while still on the phone. She said to whoever was on the receiving end of the call, "I love you, I'll call you back in a moment." She hung up the phone and handed it to me, and said, "Here. Call your parents." I thank her profusely and call my dad, "Dad," the second his voice comes into action I start to cry and lose my control, "Dad there's a shooting at the school. I'm scared!" "I know Bear, I'm doing my best to send people in and keep you safe, I love you so much, and I'm coming to get you." I whisper into the phone, "Please hurry daddy." "I'm on my way sweetheart." I hang up the phone and hadn't back to Millie. Ms Clump now yells, "Shut up!" she walking around the room taking away people phones and placing them in one large basket, "Everyone gets in the corner and shut up!" she yells. We all did what we were told and nobody dared to speak. She handed us all some paper and asked us to write our names on the sheet so she could see everyone who was here. We could hear the 'life fighter' helicopter fly over the school and decent onto the lawn, moments later it was flying away again. That could only mean one thing... someone was shot. A school bus had pulled up out the front of the school. I'd never seen a bus for multiple casualties. I don't know how else to explain it. It was just a big bus that said 'Ambulance.' This whole section had erupted feelings of terror among every student. I started to see more swat, too. No firemen. Just police, I am now thinking, O.K, it's a full-on school shooting. But at this point, we still had zero clues who it might be.
