Jugheads pov

I'm in the car rushing to get back to the bar. I hate it when Betty faints, but it's worse when I'm not there to be there for her. I panic and worry. She looked exhausted in my office and I didn't do anything. I let this happen. I go even faster as my worry becomes overpowering.

When I arrive I see my girlfriend laying down on the bar, pale and breathing steadily. I push past everyone aggravated by their complete lack of respect for privacy. When I reach the front, I turn to all the on-lookers and give them a look that shot daggers. Then I focus all my attention back to Betty. However, that is short, when I look behind the bar to find Jamie Rundle alive and breathing. "Hold-up, I thought you had died?!" "It's a long story," he tells me. I make a loud noise of frustration. I now have to tell all the parents again that this kids alive, along with the foster parents and figure all this out with the police and child services who are bound to come investigate, all while I have a family that needed my help right now. I prop Betty up and pick her up into my arms and take her out to the car. Then I round the bar and grab the twins and put them into their car seats. When I go to get Emily she says, "Jamie's coming with us," before I protest she says, "mom said so." Jamie looks extremely uncomfortable. "Ok lets go," I say. They both get in the car and share a seat, which I know would of had Betty's major disapproval.

After another hour of going around to parents and informing them that everything is alright we pull up home and while Emily takes the twins, I take Betty to our bedroom and lay her down in bed. Then I go downstairs to get a moist towel to put on her head, but I find Jamie and Emily in the kitchen. "Hey guys," I say alerting them that I'm here, "it's getting kind of late. Bear, do you want to show Jamie to the guest rooms." My facial expression showed that them sleeping in the same room is out of the question. So she nods acceptingly and guides him up the stairs. I grab a bottle of water and a moist towel from the kitchen and go back upstairs to Betty. I put the towel on the nightstand along with the water and get into the bed next to Betty. Only then I remember that the twins will probably need to be fed right now. So I go downstairs, get some of the breast milk from the fridge and feed each twin.

By the time 11:00 pm roles around, I am back in my bedroom and finally cuddling up to my beautiful girlfriend. Only to realise I did have one more thing to do.

Betty's pov

The morning sunlight, shines through onto my face, forcing me to turn onto my side. It takes me a moment to see Jughead kneeling next to my bed. I force my eyes shut and rub them. When I reopen them, I can see clearly. He is down on one knee, and has a engagement ring box open. "Jug," I say sounding winded and raspy from sleep. "Betty, many years ago, you wore my ring on your finger. I know this isn't the same one I first proposed to you with, but I love you more as every second goes buy." The ring is a cushion-cut diamond approximately 2 carrots. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. "Veronica insisted to help me find the right one and one of her connections hooked me up with this, and I just knew this would be perfect for you." There was a stifling pause. "So," he insisted, "will you marry me?" "Yes! 1 million times yes. I love you Jughead." "I love you too Betty."

In an instant he pushed me back onto the bed. My thighs hit the mattress and I landed on my butt, falling to my back with Jughead leaning over me. "Say it again," he coaxed, needing the love from me. "I want to marry you Jughead," I pull is mouth down to mine, and slide my tongue into his mouth. An eternity later, we separate, "Mmm, ok, we have a guest," he pants, out of breath.

When we walk downstairs, fully clothed for work, we notice how neither Emily or Jamie were down here. Jughead held the baby monitor and we awaited for the twins to wake-up. Due to the absence of people, Jughead smiles wickedly, and cages me against the kitchen island. He leaves a trail of kisses from  ear to my mouth, where I hungrily devour him. Eventually, he picks me up from my tip-toes, to straddle his waist.  I'm laughing and kissing, while he chuckles and presses his lips hard into my mouth. "Mom, Dad. Please!" Instantly Jug puts me down, and like a couple of teenagers we re-arrange ourself. Emily turns to Jamie and says, "I'm so sorry you had to witness my parents disgustingness." Emily walks over to me and kisses me on the cheek, "Hi bear, how was you sl-" Emily screamed, "Your engaged!"  "Shhh, don't wake up the twins," Jug laughs. She grabs my hand violently and looks at the ring and says, "Ahhhh, this is what I want one day!" I look over to Jamie, who is clearly feeling awkward and out of place. "Ok, please go and get dressed guys, you have school today," I remind her.

At the bar Jug and I walking in together, him holding the twins and me still admiring the ring. When he goes upstairs, he takes the babies with him, and gives me a kiss goodbye. At this moment, I realise, that this truely can be our forever.

Sorry I know this chapter was extremely short. Next one's coming soon and extra long. I'm also releasing a romance novel at the end of the year, which is my main priority, and possibly the best thing I feel I have ever written.
