We pulled up to 'House of Art' a tattoo shop. Then it suddenly hit me. I wasn't old enough to get a tattoo without parents permission and Dallas would definitely not allow it. Mason wasn't 18 yet either.
I sat in the truck while Mason got out, he turned around and noticed I didn't get out. "Scared, baby doll?" He asked.
"No it's I'm not over 18" I said looking directly at him.
"Come on. I get all my tattoos here, they don't make me sign a waver" he shrugged. I got out of the truck and made my way inside the shop.
"They don't make you sign a waver? Isn't that bad? When I got my tongue pierced my mom had to sign on for me" I said flipping through the books of pictures.
"No, I known him for.. Wait? You have a tongue piercing?" He shouted.
"Yeah.. I wear a clear retainer because my last ballet teacher use to get mad at me for it" I kept flipping through the books, in the corner of my eye I could see Mason staring at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You know what those are used for right?" He asked with a smug smile.
"Jesus fuck.. Don't even fucking start!" I held up a hand to his face. "Just because I have a tongue piercing doesn't mean I do that" I yelled.
"We'll see about that" he smiled at me. I shook my head and laughed.
A big fat man with tattoos, am eyebrow piercing and a lip piercing came over to us. "Mason! What are you getting today?" He asked, pulling Mason into a weird boy hug.
"Ernie. How is it going? I don't know what I'm getting.. It's up to her" he motion to me.
"Lonnie" I smiled and held my hand out to shake but he pulled me into a hug.
"Yeah, I dared her to get a tattoo.. That reminds her of me" he smirked at me.
"Hey.. You just dared me to get a tattoo not one that reminds me of you!" I light slapped his shoulder.
"I changed my dare, baby doll" he flipped through the books. We flipped through about 3 different books. "Here! This one!" Mason pointed to a picture, I looked at it and it was a picture of pair of pointe shoes.
"You know this is going to be on you forever?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Yes" he said nonchalantly.
"Okayyyy" I flipped through the other books while Mason got the pointe shoes tattooed on his wrist, I came across a gun with black roses. It basically had 'bad boy' written all over it.
I walked over to Mason too see how everything was coming along. Mason and Ernie were catching up on some stuff, I glance to the tattoo and it was about 2 inches tall and it looked very nice. When they were finished I told Ernie the tattoo I wanted and Mason even told me that the tattoo I picked out reminded him of his self. I decided to get the tattoo behind my ear.
I laid on my side, my arm supporting my head. My back was towards Ernie so Mason sat beside me. I heard the buzzing noise and shut my eyes, I felt someone's hand grip mine, I opened my eyes to see Mason smiling at me. I smiled back because I couldn't hold it in.
An hour later I was looking at my new tattoo through the mirror. The outlining, shading, contrast and proportion was just perfect. I absolutely loved it even though it reminded me if Mason.
We drove back to my house, it was only 9 so we decided that we'd go back to my place and watch movies.
We made our way in and all the lights were turned off. Everyone must be asleep or the boys are in the game room.
I put in Dazed and Confused. Mason walked in with a bottle of JD.
"Dallas is going to notices that's gone" I pointed to the bottle.
"Fuck Dallas" he shrugged. I smiled and laughed.
"I like you" I took the bottle from him, took a shot and handed it to Mason.
"Here's to us" He smiled holding the bottle to me then took a drink.

"Wake up!" Someone shook me. "Lonnie.." They shook me again. "WAKE UP" I heard they yell. I slowly opened my eyes, I looked around and saw I fell asleep on the couch. I rubbed my eyes and looked up to find a angry Dallas hovering over me.
"What is that?!" Dallas yelled pointing to my ear. The memories of last night came back to me. Did I really get a tattoo.. Sober? I jumped off the couch and ran to the mirror but I tripped over something. I quickly got up and dashed for the mirror.
Yes, yes I did get a tattoo.. Sober. "Oh my god.." I mumbled then smiles.
"Why? Why would you do that to your body?" Dallas said in a disappointed tone. I just shrugged and smiled, I walked back and saw Mason asleep on the floor. I walked over to him, I grabbed his wrist and I saw the black and gray pointe shoes tattooed on his wrist. I smiled then shook him until he was awake.
"Are you hungover?" He asked with one eye open. "No, are you?" I asked.
"Yes" he said pulling the blanket over his head. I laughed and pulled it back down.
"Did you enjoy yourself last night?" He smiled his killer smile.
"Best date ever" I smiled back.
