Ella's p.o.v
Today was Ally's college announcement day, I was kinda nervous. I don't Ally to move far away, she's one of my best friends.
Zach: what are you wearing today?
I went to the window and opened it up to see Zach standing there.
"I don't know what to wear." He laughed holding up 2 outfits.
"Me neither." I laughed. "But you should wear the blue shirt, then I can match." I smiled walking to my closet.
"Okay so what's in that magical closet of yours that will match this." He smiled as he buttoned you his shirt.
"How about this." I held up a navy blue romper where the bottoms were flowey.
"I like it." He smiled zipping his pants up.
"Okay, I'll see you later." I smiled at him closing my window. I went to my bathroom and put loose curls in my hair, then added some light makeup. I put the romper on and took some pure mirror pictures with it.
Zach: you look great
I looked over at the window to see Zach all dressed up. I put some tan wedges on and head downstairs.
"Well you look nice." My mom smiled giving me a hug, I look at Jack and Henry all dress up.
"Lookin fresh boys." I laughed at them. "Are we ready for this?" I asked starting to head out the door.
"Let's go." Jack looked kinda upset, he was sad that his sister was leaving. Jacks dream has been to make music so that's whst he wants to do. We walk up to my dads house with a bunch of people all over the place, this was a pretty big deal. Ally's dream ever since she was little to play D1 in lacrosse. I walk around and take pictures with my friends and Ally's friends, even one with Zach.
"Hi everyone." Ally waved to everyone from the stage they had in the background. Everyone payed attention to Ally and started coming in to the background. "I just want to thank you all for coming out tonight. So without further ado, here we go." She smiled holding up a balloon, I felt the butterflies in my stomach again. I looked around the backyard and I got caught by Zach's eyes and his smile. I waved him over to stand with me and my family, his whole family came with him. Ally was holding the ballon above her head and a couple people had confetti cannons.
"5...4...3...2...1..." Everyone yelled as Ally got ready to pop her balloon. Blue and white confetti came from the balloon and the cannons.
"I will be attending Penn State." She smiled whipping a tear from her face. Mike ran up to her and gave her a huge hug. I just kinda stood there in shock, she would be over 9 hours away from me.
"El are you okay?" Zach asked me, he could definitely tell something was up.
"Umm ya. I'm all good." I stood there in shock.
"Awww honey we are so proud you." My parents went up and hugged her, I'm glad they are but how come she has to go that far?
"I'm-I'm gonna go sit down." I told Zach walking away. I pushed through the crowd of people to get into the house, sitting in the kitchen alone. That's how it's gonna be when Ally leaves me, she was always there for me.
"El." Ally walked into the kitchen, I looked up at her with tears in my eye. "No no no, look I'm gonna visit you I promise. It's your senior year too so soon you will be off to go somewhere." Ally sat next to me trying to comfort me.
"No I'm not going far, my dream school has always been ECU. I'm not going super far." I complained getting even more upset.
"Look El, you will forget that I'm gone and things will be normal without me. When I come back things will be even better." Ally said getting up from sitting next to me, what she said that made me even more upset.
"You know what fuck you." That never would have come out of my mouth, I stormed off back to my house.
"El." I heard a familiar voice run after me, I ignored it and kept walking away. "Ella!" The vice got closer, I kept going. "Ella Marie!" The voice yelled, I just kept running to my house. Once I got there I ran in to my room and slammed the door. Not like anyone would hear it.
"Whyyyy!" I screamed out sliding my back against my door.
"Hey El?" Zach knocked on my door.
"Ya?" I asked trying to hide the fact that I haven't been crying.
"Can I come in?" He asked, I opened my door, he saw my red stained eyes and gave me a hug. I didn't want to let go of the hug, it felt so nice to be in his arms. "Do you wanna talk?" He asked still hugging me, I shook my head no.
"Can we lay down?" I asked looking at him with my blood shot eyes. He nodded his head and carried me to my bed.
"Do you wanna watch Netflix?" He asked, I shook my head. He knew I was watching Criminal Minds so he knew what to put on. It felt nice to lay in bed with Zach, definitely comfortable.
"Can we change?" I groaned getting uncomfortable.
"Of course." He smiled getting out of bed, he ran out of my room to somewhere. I got out of bed and put some pajama shorts on and a t-shirt. Zach ran back into my room with him wearing athletic shorts and no shirt, but he had a sweatshirt in his hand.
"What's that for?" I questioned pointing at his sweatshirt.
"It's for you." He smiled handing it to me, I started blushing and put the sweatshirt on. "Okay let's get comfy again." I smiled getting cozy in bed.
