Ella's p.o.v
A new morning a new day, hopefully it's a better one. I rolled out of bed and stumbled to my closet. I grabbed a black shirt, white jean skirt, and light pink bralette. I went into my bathroom and did my hair, today I did a braid in the back leading to a ponytail. I grabbed my grey vans and backpack and headed downstairs.
"Hey Zach is driving himself today so it's just me and you." Jack smiled throwing me a banana.
"Cool." I said sitting at the counter eating my banana.
"Okay let's go because I don't want anyone stealing my spot." He laughed starting to head out the door. I followed him out the door and into the passenger seat of the Jacks car. We listened to 2000's music on the way to school, the good music obviously. Jack really does have a good voice, I could tell once I shut my mouth to listen to him.
"You know that you have a great voice." I said looking at him from the window. He just laughed at me as we pulled into the school.
"Your not so bad yourself." He chuckled at me, I smiled at him as we both got out. Maybe Jack will replace Ally on being there for me because he obviously is.
"Hey Ella!" Maya yelled walking up holding Zach's hand.
"Hey Maya. Zach" I gave them a fake smile.
"Ella!" Cole waved me over to a bunch of boys.
"See ya." I smiled running off to be with them, it was Jack and all of his friends. None of the girls just the boys, this is a perfect way to mess with him. Cole put his arm around me as we walked into the school.
"So I'm guessing Jack told you all the plan." I laughed walking in with all of them.
"He sure did." Daniel smiled at me.
"Fuck you I don't wanna talk to you." I got all mad, I'm never gonna forgive him. I was walked to math class by the group of boys which was insane. "See you all later." I smiled walking into the classroom to see Zach. I sat in the back of the classroom and tried to ignore him the whole time. The day has gone by pretty fast which was good, it was already lunch time. The boys walked me in and everyone got out of there way, they are sport boys everyone wants them. We sat at our table and once Zach and Maya walked in hand and hand there was some tension.
Jake: you ok?
Me: this sucks
Jack: I know
I look up at the girls and head nodded to go to the bathroom. They all followed except Maya, she was all nuzzled up with Zach.
"That fucking bitch!" I yelled getting all mad punching the tampon dispenser in the bathroom.
"What's wrong?" Piper asked running cold water for my hand.
"Maya stole her man." Kate said trying to comfort me.
"That bitch." Piper said, me and Piper have been through a lot together. Then when Maya came to town Maya shoved her way to replace Piper, but now things have changed.
"Me and Jack are throwing a party at my dads house this weekend, spread the word." I smiled at them fixing my makeup.
"Ella that's not a good idea." Maya walked into the bathroom.
"Fuck you." I fake smiled at her and walked out.
Me: can we go to the field for free period?
Cole: ya sure thing
Jack: of corse
Jonah: anything for you
I walked back to the table and grabbed my bag, me and all the boys started heading down to the field.
"Hey can I come?" Zach asked running after us. All the boys looked at me and then at each other. We didn't know what to say.
"Sure." I said starting to regret it. "As long as Maya doesn't come." I said with attitude. He started following us down to the field.
Jack: you sure?
I looked back up at him and nodded my head.
"Do any of you have your lacrosse stick in you car?" I asked wanting to get some practice in.
"Ya you can borrow mine." Daniel said grabbing his keys. I made a bold choice and followed him to his Jeep. "Hey Ella, I just want to say I'm so sorry for my party. I made a mistake and I never should have done that." He sounded like he was actually sorry.
"Daniel I forgive you, but it's gonna take a whole lot for me to trust you again." I said grabbing his stick and a couple balls. We walk back to the field and see the boys throwing around a football.
Maya: can we talk?
I threw my phone and backpack on the ground and just started throwing balls to the net.
"Isn't it cheer season?" Brady tried joking with me.
"Yep." I smiled throwing a double backhand spring into a full. "And I'm fine." I laughed going back to the lacrosse stick. The free period ended and we all ran up to the school so we wouldn't miss class.
"Can we talk?" Maya asked following me to my class.
"No." I said not even turning around to look at her.
"Ella this party is a bad idea." She said still running after me.
"I don't care." I flipped her off walking into my class. The last two classes went by so slow but the day was finally over. I met Jack out by his car and waiting for him to show up.
"Hey El." Zach said walking past me. I ignored him and was just on my phone acting like I was doing something. "Can we talk?" He asked.
"About what?" I snapped back at him.
"What the hell is your problem?" He asked me getting all mad.
"My best friend is dating my used to be best friend when I liked you!" I yelled at him.
