Ella's p.o.v
There is a sound I did not miss, my school alarm. Not my fun running alarm, the dreadful sound of school. I roll out of bed and stumble to my closet, I should've done what Zach did and pick out my outfit last night. It was my senior year so I had to make a statement. This is when I really need Ally's help with life, but nope her ass left me. I decide to do my hair real quick, just some small curls.
Me: I need help
Me: come over ASAP
Zach <3: omw
Zach comes into my room with him dressed in niceish shorts and a black top.
"I need help." I smiled flopping on my bed. He walks to my closet and goes through my clothes.
"How about this?" Zach asks holding up my black sleeveless romper and a jean jacket. I smiled and nodded my head approving of the outfit.
"You are gonna have to be my new outfit picker outer." I smiled going into the bathroom to change. "What do you think?" I smiled walking out of the bathroom. Zach's mouth dropped and it made me giggle. I put some light makeup on and grabbed my tan sandals to wear.
"Let's go." Jack yelled up to my room, me and Zach headed downstairs and I grabbed an apple and my backpack to head into Jacks car. Zach hopped in the front seat of Jacks car when that's where I normally sit, but I guess that will be fine. We drove to the school when it could be in walking distance but driving is apparently cooler for Jack. Pulling into the school brings back some good and bad memories of people and how I used to be. But that's the old me and it's time to show people the changed me.
"No fucking way!" Shouted a familiar voice as I was getting out of the car.
"Maya!" I screamed running up to her to hug her. I haven't seen anyone this summer because I was focused on myself.
"How are you? You look great!" Maya was saying, I could tell she was happy to see me again. But her mouth dropped as soon as Zach got out of Jack's car. "Who is that?" She was drooling over him.
"This is my friend Zach." I smiled as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"Hi." He smiled at Maya.
"Zach this is Maya, Maya this is-"
"The girl of your dreams." She smiled cutting me off.
"I'm gonna show Zach around." Jack laughed dragging him away.
"I need to date that boy." She laughed linking arms with me.
"Trust me you will find some new cute boys this year." I laughed as we pushed the doors open. Boom boys all over, Maya's mouth dropped open.
"B-b-boys." She laughed as they were all showing off their tan muscles wearing sleeveless shirts. We went to the office and got our schedules and ran into some more friends. I left them and started heading to my first class.
"Ella." Someone put their arm around me, the smell of alcohol and cologne.
"Daniel." I groaned taking his arm off of my shoulder. "What do you want?" I asked trying to get away from him.
"What happened at my party, just wanted to say sorry." He smirked at me.
"Fuck off." I shoved him walking to my class, I walked into math and Daniel followed me. "Great." I groaned standing in the back of the room. But my day got so much better when I saw Zach walk into my class. We were put in assigned seats and the class went by fast, so did my next 2 classes.
Maya: we're sitting outside. bring Zach and Jack
I walked outside with Zach and Jack to see Maya and some other people. Like Jonah, Piper, Corbyn, Lindsey, Cole, Brady and Kate.
"Hey guys." I smiled sitting down at the table, Zach sat next to me then everyone got around the table sitting talking and eating.
"So Zach how has your first day been?" Maya asked with the dreamy eyes.
"It's been good, it's a lot better than my other school." He smiled looking at me. We were talking about the summer and thankfully nothing has been brought up about me or Daniel's party. Zach places his hand on my knee and could tell something was wrong.
"I'm gonna head out." I said walking away from the table. Everyone shared concerned looks but nobody did anything except for Zach.
"Hey El, let me walk you to class." He grabbed my hand smiling. "So where am I walking you too?" He asked as we walked around the school.
"Well it's our free period so we can go wherever." I smiled enjoying his company.
"Let's go to the library and hang." He smiled as we headed upstairs. We got to the library and sat in the back so we wouldn't disturb anyone. "So El, what happened earlier?" Zach asked getting all serious.
"So." I cleared my throat getting ready to tell Zach about my life. I went on and told him about my past, how I was into drugs and partying and not the best person till Ally knocked some sense into me. "That's why Ally was so important to me." I looked down messing with my nails.
"Hey hey it's okay." He lifted my chin up looking at me. "I'm glad you are okay and healthy now, I love this version of you." He smiled placing a piece of hair behind my ear. There went the butterflies again, I wanna be with Zach but I'm scared to get into another relationship. The bell rang and we went to class, we finished the day and finally went home.
"Hey El wanna come over?" Zach smiled as we got out of the car.
"Ya let me change and I'll be over so we can work in math." I smiled running into the house to change.
