Ella's p.o.v
I woke up a little confused on why I was on the couch, but after a while it came back to me. I ran up to my room and got ready, I did my braids again and threw on a black concert baggy shirt and jean shorts to tuck the shirt into.
"Ella lets go!" Jack yelled up the stairs.
"Coming!" I yelled back grabbing my white chucks and running down the steps. I grabbed a piece of fruit and my backpack and ran out to Jacks car. "Sorry, I overslept. That couch was pretty comfy." I laughed as we started driving to school.
"It's all good, so you know not to talk to.." He paused to let me finish the sentence.
"Maya, Zach or Cole." I said looking out the window.
"Good now here's this." Jack smiled handing me my phone. I was shocked that our mom gave us our phone back.
"No way." I smiled taking the phone. The first thing I did was delete Maya and Cole's contact, that really made me feel good. We pulled into the school and right into Jacks parking spot.
"Now text me if you need anything today, I'll be able to answer you." Jack said before I reached for the car door handle.
"Thanks Jack." I smiled doing our handshake, we got out of the car and what do you know. Zach and Maya hand and hand walking into the school. "Fucking bitch." I said making Jack laugh.
"What's is funny?" Maya turned around asking Jack.
"None of your fucking business." I got all serious.
"Aww is poor little Ella jelly?" Maya said letting go of Zach's hand and walking up to me. That's where my bubble bursted.
"What the fuck are you gonna." I stormed up to her.
"Ella stop!" Daniel yelled running up to me, I pushed him off and ran up to Maya. Right then I smacked her across the face then she did the same to me. Zach pulled Maya back and Jack and Daniel held me back.
"Ella you can't do anymore." Jack said calming me down.
"Fine." I took some deep breaths starting to calm down. "I could kill a bitch." I whisper to myself and I walked away from everyone into the school, but today it was different. I walked in with full on anger.
"Let me walk you to class so you won't do anything." Daniel smiled as we walked down the hallway. We walk to the math classroom and there was the bitch.
"Daniel." I looked over at him, he smiled and took my hand as we walked into the classroom. Daniel has definitely changed over the past couple months and I can tell. We walked to the back of the classroom and took our seats. This class is so boring, I felt myself starting to drift off.
Daniel: pssst
Daniel: don't fall asleep
I look over at Daniel and I smiled at him.
Me: but mr. k is so boring
"Now class we will be doing a project. It will be in groups of 4 and I'm picking." He said passing out the papers. The papers had our partners name on them already, the first name I saw brightened my smile not so much the other one.
Daniel: hell ya partner :)
Me: my house?
Daniel: be there after school
I looked over and smiled at Daniel, then looked over at Zach and felt my heart break.
Jack: how you feelin?
Me: better
Me: me, Daniel and Zach are doing a project together
Jack: are you okay with it?
Me: I mean I guess
"Ms. Avery get off of your phone." Mr. K yelled embarrassing me a little.
"Sorry." I put my phone away all embarrassed.
"For this project it will take around a month, you will all work on making this formula into real life things. Activities, sports, art whatever you want." He talked loudly going over the paper. It couldn't be any better timing because the bell just rang.
"I'm walking you." Daniel smiled taking me out of the classroom. The rest of the day went by very fast which was nice.
"Hey Jack." I smiled walking up to him and his group of friends.
"Hey Ella." They all said in unison.
"Do you all have practice?" I asked leaning on Jacks car, they nodded their head and got ready.
"So I have to wait?" I asked and they nodded their head. "Fine Daniel can I use your lacrosse stick?" I asked staring into his deep blue eyes.
"Ya sure." He smiled handing me the stick. I grab the stick and follow them down to the field. I did some running, tumbling with the girls and some lacrosse moves.
"Hey were done." Jack ran up to me.
"Cool can we go home and shower before I have guest over?" I asked as Daniel Zach walked up to us.
"Is that your guest?" Jack asked.
"Ya and Piper." I nodded my head and smiled as she ran up to me. We headed to Jacks car and everyone followed us.
"Will you be okay with the fact Zach is coming over?" Jack asked leaving the school.
"I don't know, I think it will help that Piper and Zach are there." I had a small smile on my face. We pulled into the house and there was a car there that we have never seen before.
"That's odd." Jack said all worried as we sat in the driveway just waiting.
"What do we do?" I asked getting anxious.
"Calm down." Jack said as he grabbed his baseball bat from the trunk. "Stay here." He said walking towards the house.
"Jack no." I said getting out of the car starting to follow him.
"Get back in there or grab the other one." He said quietly opening the door, I ran back to the trunk to grab the other one. We quietly walked in and turned the corner, I couldn't believe who was there.
