Ella's p.o.v
It's the big night, the biggest Halloween party of the year. I was so ready to have fun with my friends. But I don't know how to react with Zach now, like we're friends and good but it just feels off. I still like him and I wanna be with but he has Maya. Who is a piece of shit by the way.
"Hey Ella." Jack knocks on my door walking into my room.
"Hey what's up?" I asked looking up from my phone sitting up.
"Can Gabbie get ready with you girls today?" He asked sitting next to me. "She's a little nervous and I know she liked you a lot. Plus you guys got along real well." He was a little nervous.
"Ya let me check with the girls." I looked back down at my phone getting ready to text the girls.

Kate: answer
Lindsey: what's up?
Me: can Jack's girlfriend get ready with us tonight?
Piper: of course girl!
"Ya she can!" I smiled at Jack.
"Bet that's perfect." He looked down at his phone probably to text Gabbie.
"Tell her to come at 4." I laid back down in bed. I scrolled through my phone and tried to distract me from everything that's been going on. Scrolled through Instagram and answered my snapchats.
"Hey girl what's up!" Piper jumped on to my bed, making me jump. I got up since she scared the shit out of me.
"Hey." I laughed sitting up from my bed.
"The girls will be here soon." She smiled looking over at my phone. "Who's that?" She asked pointing at my phone shocked seeing me text someone.
"Oh it's just Zach." I smiled a little bit.
"Sooo you guys are good?" She smiled at me.
"Just friends again." I put my phone down on my bed.
"What about you know who?" She asked a little worried. I shrugged my shoulders.
"It is what it is. Like I don't even know if he told Maya that we are good again." I groaned as everyone walked in to my room, including Gabbie.
"Hey guys." Lindsey smiled flopping on my bed.
"What's wrong?" Piper asked.
"Nothing just stupid boys!" I laughed.
"Wanna get ready now?" Kate asked pulling out her makeup bag. She also pulled out some Tequila from her bag. I shuffled my party playlist so we can pre game and get ready. We danced around and had a lot of fun just messing around, Gabbie fits in with us just fine. She was dancing around singing with us and just having a good time.
"Gabbie your costume is so cute!" Piper was so excited to add a new person into our small little group.
"Thanks girl!" She smiled finishing up her makeup.
"What do you think?" Kate asked walking out of the bathroom in her football costume with black lines under her eyes.
"Omg so cute!" Lindsey clapped her hands in excitement. We were almost done getting ready but the boys were impatient so they barged into my room.
"What the hell is taking so long?" Jacked laughed, you could tell he was a little drunk.
"Shut up!" Gabbie jokingly pushed him, they were whispering things to each other which I probably didn't wanna hear.
"Who is ready to party!" Zach and Maya walk into my house, you could feel the tension. Which is even worse is the fact that me and Maya were wearing the same costume.
"Oh hell no." Lindsey started walking up to Maya but Jonah and Brady held her back. Which was definitely good because we know that Lindsey would kick her ass.
"Whatever it's not like it's a rare costume." She rolled her eye grabbing Zach's hand as they walked out of the house. We followed them and walked to the party since it wasn't that far away and it was safer than driving. You could smell the alcohol and feel the bass of the music from a block away. You know this was going to be a huge party with so many fun people.
"Yo what the fuck is up!" Jack yelled as our little group walked into the party, everyone was cheering which was a little odd. Zach went right to the bar and started taking shots, who knew how many. At one point someone walked in as Chicken and it was a good laugh. She was definitely embarrassed but it was pretty funny.
"Ella come dance!" Piper grabbed my hand as we moved into the group of people dancing. We were dancing for hours and not even drinking just having fun. Jack and Gabbie were dancing together and they are just so cute together it makes me jealous.
"Let's go smoke!" Kate ran up to us pulling us out of the dance crowd. We walked outside and the air felt so nice, helped the sweat for sure. The music was still a little loud but more muffled. But there was a group of people including Jonah and Corbyn in a circle.
"What's up girls." Jonah smiled at us with his blood shot eyes.
"Here." Some random person handed me a blunt, I just passed it to Kate. It was going around in a circle and I wasn't really in the mood to smoke tonight, maybe drink something a little later. Some time went by and we just sat outside and talked before we faced reality again.
"Hey I'm gonna go get a drink." I told Kate and Piper as I walked back inside. The music hit me like a brick from how loud it was. I walked up to the bar and I still saw Zach there taking shots of whatever was there.
"Omg thank goodness you're here." Zach smiled walking up cupping my cheeks placing his lips on mine. He just kissed me, Zach just kissed me and I'm so confused. But it was a good kiss, I felt the butterflies that I haven't felt in a long time. "Gosh I love you Maya." Zach smiled. Oh shit.
