Ella's p.o.v
"What the hell is wrong with you two?" My mom asked me and Jack as we walked into the door.
"What are you talking about?" Jack asked trying to see if she really knows about the party.
"Throwing a party at your fathers house without my permission!" She yelled at us. Fuck she did know about it.
"It's my fault mom, I'm sorry." I said looking down at my nails.
"How did you find out?" Jack asked a little shocked.
"Ummm I don't know maybe Maya sending me a picture of you both on the counter with lots of people and lights." She said getting annoyed. "Give me your phones now." She held out her hand, we gave her our phones and walked off to our room.
"Fuck!" I yelled flopping into my bed. What am I supposed to do with my life now?
"Hey Ella." I heard Jacks voice coming from somewhere. I look around my room and I heard his voice coming from my vent.
"Hahaha hey Jack!" I yelled back to him.
"So are you bored already?" He asked through the vent
"You know it! She already came through and took all my stuff." I said all annoyed.
"Kids dinner!" My mom yelled from the kitchen, I went downstairs and felt the tension in the air. Great this will be a splendid dinner.
"So is you fathers house clean?" My mom asked breaking the tension at the table. Me and Jack both nodded our heads while we ate dinner, we weren't in the mood to talk.
"El what's wrong?" Henry asked looking at me.
"Nothing bud, just not in a good mood." I rolled my eyes going back to eating my dinner. I grabbed my plate and took it to the kitchen and cleaned up the rest of the dishes.
"Mother, may El and I go for a walk?" I asked putting the dishes away. She nodded her head and me and Jack went out of the house and down to the beach.
"This fucking sucks." I said kicking some sand out from under my foot.
"Ya, does that mean no more bad Ella?" Jack made a joke trying to break the sadness.
"I don't know, Maya is a bitch and deserves to be beat up." I laughed
"She does for sure, you should do it." He laughed.
"Ya okay, and have mom kick my ass again." I smiled a little at the thought of it.
"You know, you should really talk to you know who." Jack hinted about Zach.
"Why? He broke my heart. Then at the party Cole broke my heart. And the worst part Ally isn't here." I started tearing up.
"Hey hey no no." Jack stopped turning at me. "Look I'm here for you all the time, even though we weren't close at first look at how close we are now." Jack said getting all serious.
"But Jack-" I started to say but he cut me off.
"Ella no. Don't but Jack me. Look Im your brother, best friend maybe." He laughed. "But you know what, Zach cares about you and he wants things to bet better." Jack said all serious. Out of no where this gust of wind came through my body and made me feel different. The cold ocean hitting my feet just really changed me, made me feel safe in a way.
"Fine." I said in a soft tone. "I'll talk to him to tonight." I said as we turned around to head back home. We walked back into the house and our dad was there, fuck.
"So how was this fancy party?" He asked taking a sip of scotch.
"We cleaned it up." Jack said scratching the back of his neck.
"I know, it looks great actually." He chuckled. "Look I'm not mad at you two. Just next time ask." He smiled getting up from the chair. Wow my dad was actually nice to me and Jack, they obviously did good cop bad cop shit.
"Thank you." I smiled giving him a hug. I went up to my room and opened my window to see if Zach was home.
"Ella." Jack said walking into my room.
"Ya." I whipped my head around from the window. Out of the corner of my eye I see Zach and Maya making out.
"Close the window." Jack said running up to my window.
"I-I thought you said he wanted to change." I said feeling weak all of a sudden.
"That's what he told me." Jack tried comforting me.
"Just please leave, I'm gonna shower." I grabbed my phone heading to my bathroom. I put on my sad playlist and just kinda stood there. I really do like Zach, and I just wanna be with him. Maybe I should just give Daniel another chance and see how that goes. I got out of the shower and put my hair in braids and threw on shorts and a baggy sweatshirt. I would be watching criminal minds right now and be on my phone but being grounded sucks. Instead of going to bed I want to go to the kitchen and get some ice cream.
"You hungry too?" Jack laughed getting the ice cream out.
"Thanks." I laughed taking the bowl. We just talked the whole night over things and about life. I learned that Jack wants to be big in music, it makes me happy that we're getting along. Jack is definitely replacing Ally as my best friend in the family, maybe even in real life. Like ya I have all my girl friends but they don't compare to Zach.
"Holy shit, the last time I looked at the clock it was 10." Jack laughed realizing it was 1 in the morning.
"I'm just gonna sleep here." I laughed curling up in a blanket.
"Night El." Jack laughed getting up from the couch.
"Night." I smiled laying down, I really thing that maybe me and Daniel could work, if all fails there goes my heart again and I'm done.
