Ella's p.o.v
It was Thanksgiving Day and boy I was so excited to eat some food.
"Hey you wanna go get our nails done real quick?" Ally popped her head in my room as I was getting ready.
"Yes girl lets go!" I smiled throwing random clothes on. I grabbed my phone and wallet and we headed to the nail salon.
"What color should I get?" I asked Ally as we looked through the different options.
"I think I'm gonna get a light blue, you should get this light coral color." She handed to me.
"Oooo I love!" I smiled taking the bottle. We sat the table and just laughed and talked as we got our nails done.
"Wanna get some Dunkin' after this?" Ally asked knowing what my answer would be. "Never mind we're going." She laughed looking down at her phone. Our nails were done and they both looked great! We paid the people and headed to Dunkin, the car ride was great we drove around and sang at the top of our lungs. We pulled into the driveway and Henry and Jack were tossing the football.
"How about we go get ready." I told Ally as we walked up to the house.
"It smells great mom!" Ally said as we walked past the kitchen.
"Thanks sweetie!" She yelled back from the kitchen. We ran up to my room and headed straight to my closet.
"Okay now what should I wear?" Ally asked looking through my closet.
"I pick something for you and you do the same for me?" I asked Ally flopping down on my bed.
"Okay that works." She went through the hanger and finally found something. She got a maroon skirt and a black long sleeve shirt with some black high heel ankle boots.
"Okay so you got me looking all classy and shit." I laughed walking up to the closet. I found this cute green long sleeve dress that was just above the knees. Then I grabbed a red and black plaid scarf with some brown boots.
"Ooo that's cute girl." She laughed grabbing the outfit. "I think I'm gonna straighten my hair." She walked to the bathroom, I followed her there. I put on one of my fun playlist so we could dance around and get ready to. I put some light curls in my hair while Ally straightening hers. We both applied some light makeup so we would look good.
"You wanna go take some fam pictures?" I asked Ally as we put our outfits on.
"Of course!" She smiled, we walked down the stairs and saw that the Herron's were already over. I looked up and saw Zach sitting there on his phone. We made eye contact and it felt like when we first met. I got those old butterflies he gave me when we first started talking.
"Hey can we take some pictures?" I asked everyone and they all agreed somehow. We went outside and my family took a group picture together then Zach's family did the same. Then we started taking random pictures, me and Ally got some then I got some with all the boys. I even got one with Zach which was kinda awkward.
"Hey El can you take some of me and Mike?" Ally asked handing me her phone. They took some cute pictures then my mom started talking to Ally and she got distracted. That's when I started taking a video and Mike got down on one knee. My mouth dropped and everyone else gasped. Ally turned around and covered her mouth as Mike started talking. All of a sudden you hear Ally squeal yes and she hugged Mike.
"Congrats step son!" Zach's mom hugged him. "Welcome to the family." She hugged Ally. I looked over at Zach and he was just sitting there kinda upset. I handed my phone to my mom and walked over to Zach.
"Wanna take a walk?" I asked helping him up from the ground. Once he grabbed my hand everything felt right, but I can't stop thinking about how I'm with Harvey.
"Ella I have something I wanna say." Zach said as we were in our walk.
"Ya what's up?" I asked looking over at him.
"I know you kissed me." He stopped and looked over at me.
"You- you do?" I wondered how.
"I overheard you talking to Ally and I just wanna say I would so much rather be with you than with Maya." He smiled at me grabbing my hand.
"But Zach I'm dating Harvey now." I said a little upset.
"I know but Ella, I will wait for you. Me and Maya broke up." He said, I was shocked by what he said.
"How come?" I asked letting go of his hand.
"She was toxic and too controlling, and I'm done with it." He explained to me. "And I'm sorry for what she has said to you these past couple months." He said.
"It's okay Zach, I'm sorry for not telling you the truth. I really wish I did, that night I cried because I felt so bad." I told him as we started walking back to my house.
"It's okay, for now can we just be friend again?" He asked smiling at me.
"Of course." I smiled giving him a hug. We walked into the house and everyone was looking at Ally's ring. It really was pretty.
"Let's say grace then eat!" My dad said as we all sat at the table. I sat next to Zach and Ally and we all held hands around the circle. My dad said the prayer which was pretty good not gonna lie. We started grabbing our food and it all smelt so good. It felt really good to be talking to Zach and being friend again.
"Mom this food is amazing!" I smiled as I finished up my plate. After everyone ate we played some family games while we waited for desserts. It ended up being a pretty good night with some great people.
