Ella's p.o.v
I ran to Zach's house all excited to be with him and try to do our homework.
"Hi Mrs. Herron." I waved to her walking into there house. She waved back to me while she was on the phone talking to someone about her new fashion line. I think being a model for her clothing line would be so much fun, I sat at the counter and waited to talk to her.
"Hi honey." She smiled getting off the phone giving me a hug.
"Hi, was that about your fashion line?" I asked getting a little excited.
"Yep, I was setting up the fashion show, photoshoot and looking for new models. Speaking of models, how would you like to be one?" She smiled getting excited, her excitement made me excited.
"I would love too!" I smiled all excited, she showed me some of the clothes and they are all so pretty.
"Zach's up in his room." She smiled, I walk up to his room to see him laying in bed practically asleep. I jump on top of him and he grabbed me pulling me into cuddle.
"Cuddle time." He smiled nuzzling his head into my shoulder crevice.
"Zach come on we gotta do our math homework." I said playing with his hair.
"But we did school all day." He groaned whipping his head up quickly, all I could do was smile at him. "You have beautiful eyes." Zach smiled at me.
"Come on." I smiled at him grabbing my laptop out of my backpack. He groaned and grabbed his laptop and notebook from his backpack. I was taking notes on English because I finished our math homework pretty quickly.
"Do you get number 10?" He asked all confused, I helped him with the problem then he scared the shit out of me when he yelled. "I finished." Zach smiled grabbing my hand making a run for it out of his room.
"Where are we going?" I laughed following him, we ran outside to the beach for a brain break.
"Come on El let's walk." Zach smiled as we started heading down the beach, we walked along where the water would just slightly come up to your feet.
"Hey guys that doesn't look like homework!" Jack yelled from the porch of our house. Me and Zach ignored it and kept walking along the beach.
"So how was your first day?" I asked breaking the silence in between us.
"It was good, everyone seems so nice." He smiled at me. "Then Maya was so sweet and pretty." Zach said fixing his hair.
"I could tell she really liked you." I said getting all sad, would he really go for her over me?
"Really?" He asked with excitement, all I did was nod my head. "Wow." He smiled ruffling his hair.
"Ya, maybe something will happen between you two." I said, shit why did I say that?
"Ya I'll go for it." He smiled turning around. "Let's go back home." He said, it was kind of awkward walking back home. I walked into their house and went right to Zach's room to grab my backpack so I could get out of there.
"I gotta go home." I said quickly passing him in the doorway.
"Oh, see you tomorrow I guess." He turned around looking at me. I walked back home quickly, all I wanted to do right now was be alone.
"Hi honey how was your first day?" My mom asked going to give me a hug.
"It was fine, you know how school is." I hugged her back. "I'm gonna head up to my room for a little." I said getting out of the hug, I quickly walked up to my room to be alone. I went right to my curtains and shut them so Zach wouldn't see me.
Maya: OMG ZACH JUST TEXTED ME
I ignored her text and threw my phone across the room. I decided to put Criminal Minds on to distract me and past some time.
"Kids, dinner time!" My mom yelled from the kitchen, I grabbed my phone from my floor and went downstairs.
"El what happened to your phone?" Henry asked as I looked down at it. Fuck.
"Oh I just dropped it at school." I lied putting it in my pocket. We grabbed our plates and went to the table, it was a pretty quiet dinner until.
"So how was your walk on the beach?" Jack asked looking at me.
"It was fine, nothing special." I started getting sad again, but I'm hiding my emotions unlike what I did with Ally. "Just a brain break." I grinned at him.
"Hen how was your first day of middle school?" My mom asked him.
"It was really good! Me and Maddie have almost all of our classes together so I can make sure she's safe away from the bullies." He smiled eating his green beans, now that is true love in the making.
"When is dad coming home from his business trip?" I asked finishing up the food on my plate.
"Next month, why?" She asked giving me a weird look.
"Just wondering." I smiled getting a little idea.
Me: party?
Jack: hell ya
"Get off your phone you two!" She playfully yelled at us. I took my plate and helped clean up the dishes from dinner. I knock on Jacks door to try to plan this party.
"Come on!" He yelled, I walked in and he got all excited. "You know I'm kinda surprised your doing this after last year." He laughed patting a spot next to him on his bed.
"Well I'm mad at someone so I wanna rebel right now." I smiled sitting next to him.
"Here's your first step." He smiled handing me his pen, he runs over to his window and opened it. I take a hit of the pen and we plan the party for next weekend. "So who are trying to get revenge on?" Jack asked me.
"Zach."
