Ella's p.o.v
"What do you mean?" He asked trying to get closer to me.
"Get away from me, you tried drugging me!" I yelled out getting lots of people's attention.
"What do you mean?" He asked trying playing it off.
"Fuck off Harvey." Lindsey said walking up to us, I held her back because she will go ape shit.
"We all saw you." Gabbie added in to the conversation.
"So Harvey." I looked him in the eye, you could see the disappointment in his eye.
"Don't say it." He gave me puppy eyes.
"We're over." I said all emotionless. Right as I finished my sentence Harvey did something that I wouldn't imagine. He slapped me right across the face, leaving a huge red hand mark on my cheek.
"Oh hell no." Jack pushed past everyone and started beating him up.
"Jack get off him!" Gabbie yelled as the boys tried pulling him off. But if things couldn't get even worse the cops pulled up, they struggled to pull the boys apart but they finally got it.
"Sir put your hands behind your back." The cop told Jack and Harvey.
"Stop you can't do this." Gabbie started crying. "It's our homecoming night, please just take that one." She pointed to Harvey.
"Yes officer please, he tried drugging me so I would sleep with him. Then he slapped me across the face." I pointed to the hand mark on my cheek, telling him that made me a little upset.
"I understand girls, let me talk to the chief then we will get back to you." He walked to car while Jack stood there in hand cuffs. "Okay the chief said we can let you off with a warning, but you sir will have to pay a fine." He took the handcuffs off of Jack, you could see the marks it left on him.
"Yes sir thank you. Here's my license." He handed the cop his card.
"We're not gonna tell mom about this okay?" Jack held out his pinky, I held out mine and we made a pinky promise.
"Come let's get you some ice." The girls took me back into the restaurant. We got some ice for my face and we tried fixing mine and Gabbie's makeup in the bathroom.
"You okay?" Gabbie asked hugging me, I hugged her back and nodded my head, it felt good to get a hug from her.
"You two ready?" Kate asked linking arms with us, we headed out of the restaurant and Harvey and the cops were gone. Jack walked up to Gabbie and gave her a hug, I stood there kinda awkwardly knowing that she's his number one now.
"Are you okay?" Jack gave me a hug, I nodded my head and just hugged him.
"Thank you." I whispered.
"You ready to head out?" Lindsey asked, we all nodded our head and go back into our vehicles. It was kinda silent on the way to the dance, not the nice silence but an awkward silence.
Zach: you okay?
Me: not really
Me: don't really wanna be here now
Zach: we can leave and go back to my place if you want
Me: look Zach I don't know if I'm ready to jump back in to a relationship right now
Zach: I understand
Zach: best friends again?
Me: yes always :)
I looked over at Zach and gave him a smile. We pulled into the dance and once I felt the base on my feet I felt so much better.
"Let's fuck things up!" I laughed getting out of the car, I took a quick sip of alcohol before we went in. We walked into the school as a huge group and so many people were already there dancing. The music was loud and the lights were off besides the colorful strobe lights going around.
"Let's go dance!" Kate yelled over the music grabbing my arm as the girls followed. The boys just stood back knowing that we were gonna make history. We all hopped in the middle of the circle and did the group dance we've been doing the past 5 years. Everyone cheered for us once we finished, then all the girls grabbed there date to grind on them. I just stood there awkwardly dancing by myself.
"Yo El shake some ass." Lindsey laughed. I shook it a little, I really didn't know what to do since I didn't have a date. "Bitch did you hear what the fuck I said. Shake some ass!" She yelled obviously making me dance. Things were all hype and fun everyone was dancing and sweating from being in the circle.
"I'll be right back." I left the group and headed to the hallway to get something to drink.
"Hey Ella." A familiar voice said from behind me. I turned around to see Daniel, great just what I need for tonight.
"Hi, what do you want?" I asked turning around taking a sip of water.
"I just wanna apologize for what happened between us, I was a dick." He admitted, it was pretty good to hear that from him.
"Look that kinda sucked not gonna lie, but I guess I forgive you. We will never be a thing ever again, but maybe acquaintances." I suggested and I guess he went along with it, a pretty red head came up and pulled him back to the dance floor. That felt pretty good to make up with him even though he was a real dick head to me, but I'm glad we fixed things.
"Hey is everything okay? I saw Daniel talking to you." Jack rushed up to me. He knows with everything going on today I could snap at any point.
"Ya we just kinda fixed things up a little." I grinned.
"No feelings for him again right?" Jack asked in a worried tone.
"None Jack, don't worry. I won't be getting in a relationship for a while now." I smiled looking past Jack to see Zach dancing around everyone having the time of his life.
