Ella's p.o.v
Yippee another boring old Monday. Other then the fact I have to see Zach after he fucking kissed me and I punched his girlfriend straight in the face. Nothing new here am I right? I threw on a custom Costal Carolina shirt, black jean shorts and some converse. Costal Carolina is my dream school, they have the best marine science program that I'm looking forward too.
"El let's go!" Jack yelled from downstairs. Things felt kinda awkward since I told Jack what happened. He kinda judged me for it but it wasn't my fault right? It was all Zach's fault, he is the reason my brain is going around in circles.
Zach: can we talk after school?
Me: ya sure what's up?
Zach: we just need to clear things up.
Me: kk
Now I am worried. I never like when it is a serious talk, it makes me feel weird.
"Ella snap out of it." Jack snapped in my face as we pulled into the school. I looked out the window and saw Zach with his arm around Maya. Only if she knew the truth, now that would ruin something for sure. We parked in Jack's normal spot as always and Gabbie run up to hug Jack. Yay I love being around everyone who has a relationship.
"Ella!" Some boy waved to me, I waved back and just went with it.
"Hey Ella." A group of lacrosse boys walked up to me.
"Hey." I smiled fixing my hair, I didn't do much to it today.
"Wanna practice during free period?" One of them asked.
"Ya sure I'd love to!" I smiled grabbing my backpack from Jack's truck.
"Nice shirt!" Mark one of the boys said.
"Thanks, hopefully I'll be going there. Class of 2022." I started walking to the school. I wonder why they were talking to me, they are very popular and I just didn't think they would know me. I walked in and everyone seemed so happy it didn't really make sense. Classes went by really fast and I really didn't see Zach today which was kinda nice. I don't really want to talk to him because I don't even know if he knows that he kissed me.
"Ella!" Piper and Lindsey yelled running up to me in the hallway.
"What is going one?" I asked all concerned for what was going on. We linked arms and started walking down to the field talking, until something out of the ordinary happened. People were in a line handing me roses, one after the other. 17 roses and at the end of the trail was Harvey. Him and his beautiful brown hair and smile that you could get lost in. Harvey plays lacrosse so maybe that's why the boys were talking to me earlier. We have been pretty good friends since Elementary school, then he started hanging out with lacrosse boys and got really busy. He was holding up a sign saying 'I finally have the balls to ask you to hoco'.
"So will you go with me?" He asked handing me the final rose.
"Yes of corse I will go Harv!" I smiled giving him a huge hug. It will be nice for us to do this, we haven't done something this fun since freshman year boys vs girls lacrosse game. I totally forgot about Hoco, that means I need to get a dress.
"Wanna play for old sakes?" He laughed handing me a stick. I took the stick and ball and we started passing around the ball, so much fun. This is definitely what I needed, a distraction from Zach. "So do you wanna go shopping after school?" He smiled at me.
"Sorry Harvey, she's coming with us!" Lindsey barged in to our conversation.
"Sorry Harv." I handed him his stick and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Let's go!" Lindsey and Piper yelled as we ran to there car.
"Wait where's Kate?" I asked hopping in the front of the car.
"Oh I'm here." She popped her head up from the back of the car. "I took a nap." She laughed as Lindsey got in the back with her. Kate hopped in the driver seat and we drove up to go dress shopping, we first had to get some coffee. We got to the store and it was filled with dresses, I didn't even know what to try on.
"What are you guys trying?" I asked a little nervously.
"Tight." Kate laughed looking at the dresses. We all decided that would be smart so we looked through the tight dresses. Kate grabbed a bright red one that had fun crosses in the back. Lindsey grabbed a black one where her boobs would pop out. Piper grabbed a pink dress that had sequence around the dress in a cool pattern. Then I found this navy blue dress that had gems on the back and I loved it.
"These dresses are amazing." The lady said making sure we would buy them, mean why not it was a luck first pick.
Me: I found the one
Harvey: wanna come over so we can find a match?
Me: can't I have plans with Jack
Me: how about tomorrow?
Harvey: dinner too ;)
Me: sure thing
"Thanks for the ride." I got out of the car with the dress.
"See you tomorrow girl!" Kate yelled driving off. I walked in the house to see Jack and Zach sitting at the counter.
"Hey how was dress shopping?" Jack asked as I walked to the counter.
"It was fine, do you wanna go talk now?" I asked Zach, he nodded his head and we walked out to the porch. "So what do you wanna talk about?" I asked sitting down.
"So El, I heard about Harvey asking you to Hoco. That's pretty cool, congrats." He sat across from me.
"Ya I wasn't expecting it, we haven't talked to each other in forever." I sat there awkwardly.
"So what I wanted to talk about was the party, El was that you I kissed?"
