"You're getting much better!" declared Margali cheerfully. "It's only been two days, and you're already looking so much healthier." I smiled. "I feel much better. Thank you!" "It was no big deal. Now, if only Kurt could be responsible..." she muttered. I groaned. "What did he do this time?" Margali rolled her eyes. "He tried to change the cues, and ended up breaking two ribs." I winced. "That can't be good," I muttered. "He disappeared a bit ago. I was just about to go look for him," she said. "Can I go?" I asked. "I want to get some exercise, get out of this trailer for a bit." Margali sighed. "Ok, but be careful!" I grinned happily. "I will!"

Flying felt amazing. It was exhausting after being sick, but it gave me a chance to feel the breeze on my face and stretch my limbs. I landed in front of the closest church, out of breath but happy. I peeked in, only to find it empty. I shrugged. He was probably hiding in the back of some old theater in a nearby town, watching one of the movies featured. I turned to fly away when I heard Kurt's voice from the woods behind the church. I couldn't make out what he was saying, only that it was his voice. I started walking along the trail and yelled, "Kurt?" He came into sight when I turned a corner. He sat on a log, chin propped up on his hands. He looked up. "Lizzie?" I sat down next to him. "Are you ok?" I asked. "I heard what happened." He sighed. "Yes... no... I'm not sure anymore..." I grabbed his hand. "What's wrong?" He turned to me. "I just... feel like something's missing lately... I don't know what to do, Lizzie! How can I fix the problem if I don't even know what it is?" I squeezed his hand. "You'll figure it out, and when you do, I'll be there to help you fix it."

He looked into my eyes. "You've always been there for me...." he whispered. "And you've always been there for me. I'm just returning the favor," I answered quietly, but I felt my face heat up. "I figured out my problem," he whispered, leaning closer. "What's wrong, then?" I asked quietly. He slipped his arms around my waist and pulled me towards him. I gasped as he kissed me, but relaxed after a second, closing my eyes and caressing his cheek. When we pulled apart for air, he stared into my eyes. "I love you," he whispered. "I love you, and it was killing me not to do this." I smiled, tears filling my eyes. "I love you too," I whispered. He kissed me again and again, and I never wanted him to stop. He seemed to realize what I was thinking, so we stayed like that, the stars twinkling above us, and me the happiest I had ever been. "I love him," I thought joyfully. "And he loves me back!"

I hugged him close to me. "I don't want to go back for awhile," I whispered. "We don't have to. We can watch the stars fade to sunlight. Then, we can go back and tell everyone about this, about us, but tonight? Tonight is ours." I smiled and breathed, "Ok."
