Kurt
"I don't think I've ever been so happy..." I muttered sleepily. "Me either. I love you so much, Kurt," answered Sophie beside me. The word 'love' made my heart beat faster. We were both lying in our bed, in our small apartment. I was the happiest I'd ever been. Something in the back of my mind whispered. "Are you sure about that?" I opened my eyes. "You've been happier, and not with Sophie. You know it's true." I shook my head, and when I looked over, it was Lizzie beside me. "What?!" I gasped. "What's wrong?" she muttered sleepily. "Go back to sleep, honey." Then, right before my eyes, it faded back to Sophie, then Elizabeth again. I clutched my head. "What's going on?!" I stumbled back and fell to the ground, hitting my head. The carpet faded to metal as I opened my eyes. "Sophie!? Lizzie!? What... what's going on?!" I shouted. "Shut up you animal." I jumped at the sound of the unfamiliar voice. "Who is that!? What have you done to me!?"

A man walked into the cell. "Hello, Mr. Wagner," he said pleasantly. "Let's get started, shall we?" "I'm not going to cooperate with you!" I growled. "I don't know who you are, or what you want, but you better let me go now!" He smiled, and switched to English, rather than German. "Really? Would you consider cooperating if your friend was at risk?" He held up a small tablet. My eyes widened. "Lizzie!" She appeared to be asleep, a faint smile on her face as she lay on a cot exactly like the one I had just fallen off of. I looked up at the man, fists clenched. "If ju have hurt her in any vay...." I growled. "Not a hair on her head has been harmed... yet. Now then, instead of getting to know who I am, I'd like to know more about you. The intelligence we've gathered is a bit... incomplete. We know that you are highly agile. We know that you speak five languages, including Swedish, of all things. We also know that you can move yourself through some kind of dimensional portal- some kind of teleportation- and can cover large distances in the blink of an eye."

I concentrated hard, trying to ignore the man. "I can do this," I thought. "Just concentrate on her cell..." I let out a scream of agony as I was electrocuted. I clawed at my neck, the source of the pain, before falling onto my hands and knees. A smug smile spread across the man's face. I glared at him silently, my chest heaving. "Let me guess, you were trying to do that teleportation trick I just mentioned. I suppose something along the lines of 'to hell with this' went through your little monster mind. You figured you could find the girl, somehow, find an exit, and make your way to safety; that is, until you discovered that we had considered that option as well." His grin widened. "Hurts, doesn't it?" I leaned back against the wall as he sat down. "Now, once again, what other interesting mutant talents do you possess?" I rubbed my neck and said seriously, "Vell, if you rub my belly, my leg viggles uncontrollably." I grinned. The man didn't look amused. He stood and turned to leave. "Vhat? Are ju leaving? Don't you want to give it a try?" I asked. "All right," I muttered. "Maybe later. I'm here all veek . Vherever here is..." The door closed smoothly and locked with a loud click.
