I had been standing guard for hours. My feet ached. The voice wouldn't let up. Memories were fading. I couldn't remember the girl's face anymore. All I could remember was the sound of her screams. I missed the circus. I missed Kurt, but I couldn't do anything to even try to get back to them.

   The voice was fading. So was the fuzz that seemed to come with her. I shook my head. What had I been doing? I had been standing here, but why? Where was everyone?

  Someone slammed me against the wall. "Looks like we need to readminister this, don't we, love?" whispered a rough voice in my ear. A sharp pain spread through my neck, and a girl began to yell. "Follow! Go!" My legs began moving against my will. "No! Wait!" I thought. My body was on fire. It hurt so badly. It was so much easier just to do as I was told....
