Chapter 4: Heaven Part 1

Rose point of view

Last thing I remember was being in Comrade's arm as I closed my eyes. I opened my eyes and I saw him. Comrade was right next to me, we looked at each other for a long period of time. So many messages went threw relief, worried, happiness and sadness. I wanted to get up , but he getnly laid me back. 

" you shouldn't get up," Comrade said as he went and shook a very sleepy Lissa on the next bed.

She instantly opened her eyes and as soon as she saw me she had the biggest smile.

" Rose, thank goodness your awake," she said as she got up from her bed and took my hand.

" Where are we?"I asked her as I clearly didn't recognize the place.

" well you passed out while we entered the hotel, I had to compel the guy from the receptionist and I healed you because you were loosing so much blood you looked almost paled as a Moroi," Lissa explained.

" Liss we need to go, it's not safe having you out the wards," I told her when I suddenly felt the darkness she was carrying.

The amount of darkness she was carrying made me suddenly feel weak, I felt my eyes changed as I was suddenly in her head.

" I need to take it from her now, before it takes it's toll on her," I thought to myself.

As I started taking it away from her I started breathing slowly in and out. Lissa and Comrade most have notice because they started to shake me.

" Rose don't you dare take the darkness away," Lissa said as she shook me.

I ignored what she said and kept going until she had nothing left and I left her head returning to my own. I opened my eyes but I wasn't seeing right. I saw shadows move around I saw everything in red, not a good thing. I took a really deep breath as I tried to go back to my normal eyes not my shadowkiss eyes. After a few deep breaths I was back. The anger was there but I felt as I locked it up.

" Your in no condition of taking the darkness, you know I could handle it" Lissa said.

" Liss it's not safe if you carry darkness, you'll feel bad if you hurt someone with it, I'm only doing this for your own good. I don't want what happen in Saint. Vladimir to happen again. Don't want to deprive you from your gift," I told her as I recall what happen with all the cutting.

Comrade had his eyes on us the whole time. When I noticed him looking at me he suddenly looked some where else.

" He was worried about you, he never left your side. He hasn't slept since the attack" I heard Lissa said threw the bond as she with her eyes she pointed at him.

" Comrade you should sleep, I'm fine I could look after Lissa," I told him knowing he wouldn't listen to me.

Dimitri looked at us, like if he was afraid to do something.

" I'm okay, I'm not tired" he said but a yawn beat him to it.

" He's afraid of sleeping because he gets nightmares of him when you know," Lissa said as she didn't finish her sentence.

She really didn't need to, he has been having nightmares of his life as a Strigoi , from what Lissa tells me he tries his best to be awake the longest so he wouldn't have to have nightmares.

" Compel him," I mouthed to her.

She seem to understand when she got up from her side as well as me.

" Dimitri," Lissa said as she tried to get his attention.

He turned to her giving her eye contact which was all she needed.
