Chapter 8: Judgment Free

The council decided that I wasn't a Strigoi and they gave me my title back with Christian Ozera as a charge. That meant that I could spend more time with my Roza. My day suddenly turned bright when I wasn't hiding my relationship with my Roza. We told Liss since Roza didn't want to hide anything from her. Vasilisa was happy with the fact that Rose is happy again because she wasn't suffering from my decisions. Christian and Eddie were okay with our relationship they just wanted me to take care of her and not hurt her like I did last time.

Rose and Lissa had been hiding something since Lissa received a message from the Guardian Council. The only thing they said that her last two new guardians would be arriving from Russia in two days. I asked more question but they wouldn't answer. I guarded Christian for only three days out of seven since he was always with Lissa and she had 5 guardians 24/7. Every night I spent with my Roza was a night I never forgot to show her that I was here to stay that I loved her with my soul. Today I was making her some lunch since she is about to get out from guarding the front gates. I was making her some chicken ravioli. I was pouring into the plate when I heard the door open and clothes at the same time. I was about to go greet her when I suddenly heard another voice that I haven't heard in so long. My little sister Viktoria was here. I suddenly remember the day I was a Strigoi and I tried getting close to my mother's home and I was almost killed by my sisters. Since then I never went back.

" Viktoria this is my house, you'll get the same one if you decide not to live in the queen's chamber," I heard Roza said to her.

"By the way this place looks, I'll probably ask for the same thing, why did you bring her here. I'm supposed to report to the queen's head guard" Viktoria said.

" You're looking at it, there someone I want you to see. But first, listen to him and don't judge" Roza said.

Viktoria stood quite at what Roza said.

"You can come out I know you're hiding," my Roza said with a little laugh.

I came from where I was standing and walked to where they where and Viktoria suddenly got in defense mode. I wouldn't blame her for doing so.

" what the hell" Viktoria said as she tried to remember to speak English and got off her defense mode.

" I know it might seem strange but he isn't a Strigoi, I found a way to change his soul. He has been a dhampir for over a year now," Roza said to her as she nudged me to go to her.

I started walking her as she tried her best to keep her guardian mask but the only tear came down.

"How could you not tell us, You don't know how much we all suffer especially hearing momma cry every night for you. You could have come back you could have taken her out her misery of not having you" Viktoria yelled to me.

" You have all the right to yell at me. I know I did wrong in not returning back home when I was changed. Please forgive me" I said to her as I got on my knees.

I needed her forgiveness more than ever. Viktoria looked at me as she tried to keep a straight face but the tears were beating her at it.

" It's not me you have to apologize to. Momma is the one you should beg for her forgiveness," Viktoria said as she hugged me.

"Thank you god," I thought to myself as I hugged my sister.

Roza looked at us with so much joy. She knew how much I wanted to have my family with me.

" if you'll excuse me," Roza said as she left the room.

Our little hug meant a lot of things for us. Reunion, forgiveness, and love. We parted when Roza back with a big box.

"Viktoria in this box holds your own personal stake with the Dragomir symbol. You swear today to protect the Dragomir family. There is also your own gun and the royal guard uniform that you must use when you're on shift"Roza told her happily.

Viktoria with most pried nodded and took the box.

" Where is Nikolai? I have his box for him as well" Roza said.

" He actually decided last minute to get his place in the guardian buildings," Viktoria said.

" fine, he should be in Lissa's chamber I gave orders that as soon as you guys arrive to go," Roza said.

" Dimka can you get the other box?" Roza asked me.

I nodded and quickly went for the box. We quickly left to Lissa's chamber, it didn't take long as we faced guardian Lopez one of Lissa far he saw us he smiled as quickly let us in. Viktoria was suddenly amused at the decorations she saw. The house has a great design and as soon as you enter you would see the Dragon that represented the Dragomir family. One of Lissa's many maids came I think her name was Piper.

" Welcome guardian Hathaway, Guardian Belikov" Piper stood quite as she didn't who my sister was.

"Hey, Piper this is Viktoria Belikov, Lissa's new guardian. She's related to Dimitri" Roza told her as she pats her shoulder and walked passed her as we followed.

Roza leads us to where Lissa at since their bond is a GPS. Lissa sat in a room which she didn't decorate. Christian was there with her with another guy which was Nikolai.

"Hey," Roza said as she walked to Lissa and hugged her.

Lissa hugged her back with a smile on her face.

" Hey," Lissa said as she saw Viktoria and me but then looked at her a little longer.

Viktoria instantly bowed as Lissa made eye contact with her.

" It's great honor working for you my queen," Viktoria said with a heavy Russian accent.

Lissa walked to her and helped her up.

" Sweetheart no need to bow. Your family to me everyone in my guard is. Also, call me Lissa to treat me like a normal person. No titles" Lissa told my sister.

" Sure will Lissa," Viktoria told her with a smile.

" Nice to meet you, Nikolai," Roza said as she extended her hands to his.

Roza told Nikolai what she told Viktoria that by taking the stake you swear to protect every Dragomir. Roza placed her earpiece on as she tried to tune in into her teams.

"Lopez please bring me two earpieces for Viktoria and Nikolai," Roza said threw hers.

Lopez soon walked in with two earpieces and handed them to my Roza.

" these will have to be kept on at all times as you are in here and when we leave the wards. This keeps you connected to the other guardians" Roza explained to them.

They both nodded and placed me on their ear.

" We are going to have to do something out your last names," Roza said as she pointed to Viktoria and me.

" We communicate by last names and now theirs two Belikov's. I will just have to call you by your names," Roza said as she walked to me and I wrapped my arms around her.

Viktoria and Nikolai looked at us confused as to why would be this close. I haven't told Viktoria that I was with Roza.

" You guys don't have to hide. I'm perfectly fine with you guys dating," Lissa said with a smile.

Viktoria and Nikolai looked at each other as if their cover was blown.

" How do you know?" Viktoria asked Lissa.

" I'm a Spirit User and I see aurora's perfectly well and when two aurora's are the same color it means their romantically involved. I am not against you guys being together," Lissa said.

Nikolai walked to Viktoria and took her hand in his.

" Just take care of her," I told Nikolai.

Nikolai nodded and smiled at Viktoria.

" So you can't give us that look. Comrade and I are together as well, " Roza said.

" YOUR WHAT!" someone yelled.

Roza quickly took her hands away from me.
