Rose point of view

Have you had a moment where you thought everyone was telling you a big fat lie? Well, that's how I feel now. According to Lissa, I was in a massive attack, which ended by me killing myself, which produced a catalepsy attack, and now I don't remember anything about that or either me even graduating from the Academy.

I get awkward at the entire fact that the only people I remember are my mother and Lissa. My mother presented this older man as my father; I think his name was Abe. Lissa showed this girl that looked the same as the tall Russian guy as Viktoria and Dimitri. They all had this type of expression of sadness, I'm guessing.

"Liss, where's Mason?" I asked her as I walked with her around her place.

As soon as I asked her about Mason, she instantly stops dead in her track and turns to face me.

"Umm Rose, Mason, died in an attack a year ago; he died protecting you," Lissa said in a low voice.

I couldn't believe that my best friend Mason was. I couldn't believe he was gone.

"What else don't I remember?" I asked her as we walked in a room that seems like her office, I presume.

She took a seat on a couch that was in the corner of the room, and I sat next to her.

"Well it depends, what do you remember?" Lissa asked me.

I thought about her question, and I told her that I only remember us living by ourselves that I use to work in a movie called High School Musical and that we lived in a small apartment. I remember Lissa's mom Rhea as she trained me to sing and act, that's how I got a significant role as Gabriela Montez.

"Well, do you remember Dimitri?" she asked me.

I nodded as I remember that sexy Russian guy who was next to his little sister Viktoria when I woke up. Lissa explained how Dimitri was the one that brought us back to the Academy and how he became my mentor and taught me what I learned and how I graduated at the top of my class, which got me the position to be her guardian. By the looks of her eyes, I saw that she left something out, but I wasn't going to ask her about it because I wanted to know what I don't remember.

"You also forgot to mention that your Queen now!" I said to her.

"Ohh yeah, about that, I became queen because I felt that I needed to get my family honors back, and thanks to my sister Jill I was able to become queen," Lissa said with a smile as she mentions her sister Jill.

"So, I'm head guard?" I asked her.

"Yup, you have six other guardians under you, but until you get your memories back, our friend Eddie who is your second in command will take your place," Lissa told me.

"Alright, another question," I said.

"What is it?" Lissa asked

"Is Dimitri single?" I asked

As soon as that came out, my mouth, Lissa's face turned priceless.

"Umm no, your his girl," Lissa said very low.

"What you mean, I'm his girl!? Liss, he is almost twice my age" I almost screamed back at her.

Her face expression was priceless.

"You didn't seem to care before, Rose, I know you may not remember now, but you said it yourself before that Dimitri was the one true definition of a soulmate and that you wouldn't trade it for the world," Lissa said to me in such calm voice.

"Before you blow up again, I advise you to head to the gym and workout with Dimitri. The physical connection you share with him is something that can't go away easily. Go on, and I'll catch you later," Lissa said as she somewhat tried to kick me out of
the room.

After changing into some appropriate gym clothes and asking for some direction, I finally found the gym, well Lissa's gym. If I was told right Lissa made sure to have a gym for her guardians to be able to train and still be close to her, but back to business.

I notice Dimitri working out as he vested the punching dummies as it was its enemy.

"Hey," I said out loud, which made him stop and turned to look at me.

He looked at me in the eyes, but there was something else into it. It felt like he was looking into my soul, and I was able to look into his.

"Ummm. I came to train, Lissa told me I could come to you as you were my mentor back in the academy," I said as I placed my gym bag on the bench.

"I would like to test something out," I heard him say with that heavy accent of his.

His voice only made me weaker in a strange way.

"How can I feel this when I don't even remember him?" I thought to myself.

I didn't hear his response or anything coming from him. I suddenly turned around when something in me told me to turn around, and I did as a sudden punch came at me. I blocked it and pushed Dimitri back as I pushed him with my leg and got in a fighting stance.

"What was that for!?" I yelled at him.

"I was testing out a theory. You can't just forget how to fight, I was right; you don't have to be on defense mode, I won't hurt you," Dimitri said as he came to me and fixed my hair that was out of place.

Our bodies were so close together that I could hear our breathing become one. I looked Dimitri in the eyes, and there was something in me that made my body get closer to his, like what Lissa told me a physical attraction that pulled us closer.

"Please tell me it's not just me feeling this. The way our bodies desire to be close to each other. The way our hearts race as we get closer. How our lips want to reconnect once again," Dimitri said as he once again came close to me. Our lips were so close, just one inch away from touching.

Now I was feeling that sudden urge that he was talking about how I wanted his body closer to mine and how I wanted his lips to connect with mine.

Dimitri lifted my head so I could once again look into his eyes, which were beautiful. He lowered his head to me, and sudden electricity passed threw us as our lips connected.

I was kissing a stranger.
