The past 2 years seemed to drag by for Azar but she managed to keep herself busy with a couple of missions here and there but not too many since she was a fugitive who helped in Bucky and Steve's escape back in Berlin.

When she wasn't out on small missions, the brunette spent her days speaking to her fiancée while he was still in cryo, telling him about her day and how much she loved and missed him.

It had become her daily ritual ever since he went back under.

Since her arrival in Wakanda, she had being staying in the Palace with the King and his family.

But after a couple of months she began to feel like a nuisance to the Royal Family for sponging off on them which they assured her that she didn't.

To put her mind at ease, especially now that he had granted her asylum in his kingdom, T'Challa gifted Azar with with a modest and comfortable hut nearby.

That was when she really sprung into action. Wanting everything to be perfect for when her Soldier woke up, Azar had mostly spent her time on making sure everything was perfect in their little home.

Today was no different than the rest with the same daily routine: check in on Bucky and making sure everything was ready. She became so absorbed in her work that she hadn't realised that the day went by fairly quickly.

'Tomorrow is another day.' The brunette thought to herself as she neatened up, putting everything back in its respective place.

She decided to take a stroll to the cliff, that was positioned right under the giant panther statue that overlooked the city, and ended her day by watching the ever so beautiful Wakandan sunset.

Until her mind wandered to that day.

Azar and Steve stood beside each other, in a Wakandan medical facility, as they watched the doctors check Bucky's vitals.

"You sure about this?" Steve asked softly, causing the dark haired soldier to sigh heavily.

"I can't trust my own mind." He said with a small smile. "So, until they figure out how to get this stuff out of my head I think going back under is the best thing.. For everybody."

Azar dropped her gaze. Bucky had decided the day after her arrival that he'd go back under. The brunette, of course, protested against the idea but deep down she knew that he had to do this.

Everything HYDRA did to him was still there, what Zemo did and what anyone could do to him if they knew how to control him.

She knew that Bucky despised the thought of hurting more innocent people than he already had, especially her.

"Hey.." She looked up to see Bucky staring at her. "C'mere.." He motioned her over to him gently, that Brooklyn accent making itself present.
