Later that evening, the couple lied awake in bed - Azar's head resting on Bucky's chest with her arms wrapped around him while Bucky ran his fingers through her hair. She listened intently as he spoke about his family.

She had learned that he was the eldest of four kids and found herself smiling at how she had pictured him as the protective big brother.

She had also learned that his father was in the army and how much he had really looked up to him. That was what made him enlist - besides to serve and protect his country, he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps.

She really adored the way he spoke about his parents and his siblings, especially how close he was with his sister, Rebecca.

Bucky had also told her stories of him and Steve and how he had always gotten Steve out of trouble.

"I just can't picture Steve as a little scrawny kid." Azar giggled softly.

"Believe me, doll. He was a little scrawny punk." Bucky chuckled. "Never backed out of a fight. So one day, I took him down to the boxing gym I trained at and taught him some basic self defense--"

"You boxed?" She asked while stopping him.

"A three-time YMCA welterweight boxing champion by 1937." The soldier chuckled.

Azar swatted his chest softly. "And I'm only finding out about this now." She shook her head with a smile, narrowing her eyes at him teasingly.

"So, we need to discuss our wedding

"So, we need to discuss our wedding." The brunette said as she traced random patterns on her fiancé's chest.

"What would you like to discuss?" Bucky asked her softly as his fingers combed through her long, brown locks.

"Well for one, I don't want our wedding to be a whole big deal." She replied. "I mean, if that's okay with you. I'm more than willing to compromise if you don't--"

The brunette was cut off by the soldier's soft chuckle. "No compromise needed." He said. " I never wanted our wedding to be over the top and made a huge fuss about."

Azar turned herself onto her stomach and placed her chin onto his chest as she smiled at him.

"But I do have one thing that I want." He added.

"And what's that?" She asked as she stared at him.

He looked down at her with a smile. "I don't want to wait months for you to offically become my wife. I want to marry you as soon as possible." He said. "Tomorrow."

Azar shot up as she stared at him. "Tomorrow?" She questioned which earned her a nod in response.

"Bucky, nothing has been set. What about getting Steve and Artemis down here? What about your tux? I need a dress!" The brunette said in a panic which the dark haired male watched in amusement.

He sat up and pressed his lips gently against hers, immediately putting a stop to her rambling.

"Calm down, doll." He chuckled. "One of the guards will be here tomorrow to escort you to the palace where your dress will be waiting for you."

This caused Azar to tilt her head in confusion, making Bucky chuckle once more.

"Did you really think I went into town?" He asked with a smirk.

"I was actually at the palace, planning this with T'Challa." He began to explain further. "Shuri happened to overhear and offered to get you a dress."

The brunette let out a breath of relief as a smile etched its way onto her face.

"No wonder she couldn't stop grinning at me this afternoon when she helped me set up. I thought she was acting a little weird." She said.

"But wait, if my dress is already arranged, what about everything else?" She asked causing Bucky to roll his eyes with a smile.

"You stress to much." He said resulting in Azar sticking her tongue out at him. "I told T'Challa everything that I needed to be done and he said to leave it to him."

"Okay, smartass, who is performing the ceremony?" Azar asked with an arched eyebrow.

"The King himself." Bucky replied.

Azar stared at him in amazement and wonder. He had basically handled all the wedding plans just for them to be married tomorrow.

She smirked to herself at how impatient he was and made her think if he was this impatient back in the 40's.

"So we're really doing this? Tomorrow?" She asked which made Bucky smirk.

"Too late to back out now." He teased.

Azar giggled with a roll of her eyes. "You do realise that Steve and Artemis are going to be so pissed at us for eloping, right?" She asked which made Bucky grin as he pulled her closer to him.

"They will but we can always have a small wedding later down the line." He replied as they both lied back down.

"Tomorrow you are officially Mrs Barnes." He whispered into her ear which caused Azar to grin excitedly at him as she pecked his lips softly.

"I can't wait." She whispered.
