Azar stood in the princess' bedroom, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her long brown hair was styled with curls that were pinned half up and half down. Small white flowers adorned the pinned up braid and her makeup was done naturally.

She rolled her eyes, smiling to herself at what Bucky always told her, "You don't need makeup to look as beautiful as you do, doll."

Her eyes travelled down to her dress - a beautiful white, cape sun dress that fitted her figure before flowing from her waist down along with a pair of rose gold, strapped heels.

Turning away from the mirror, the brunette began to pace back and forth as she took in a couple of deep breaths to calm her nerves.

She paused in step when she heard a knock at the door, immediately turning her attention towards it.

"Come in." She said with a shakey voice as Okoye, the general of the Dora Milaje, stepped into the room with a warm smile.

"Are you ready, Miss Danvers?" The general asked.

Taking in another deep breath, Azar nodded her head with a smile before she followed Okoye to the venue to meet her soon-to-be husband.

She stepped out on to the white carpet, her eyes darting at the scene around her.

Fairy lights ran along the rock walls of the waterfalls, a variety of white flowers were scattered along the ground and on the wedding arch with the famously beautiful Wakandan sunset in the background.

Tears formed in her eyes as she stared in amazement. Azar couldn't believe that Bucky had pulled all of this off in just under 48 hours.

Turning her gaze to the wedding arch, she saw T'Challa smiling at her but a soft gasp left her as her eyes landed on her fiancée.

He wore a black suit with black dress shoes, a grey scarf slung around his left shoulder bandaging up his limp with his dark brown hair pulled back into a half bun. She didn't know how this man could be so handsome.

Bucky, on the other hand, could only stare at Azar with widened baby blues as she made her way down the aisle.

She looked absolutely breathtaking.

Tears formed in his eyes as he stared at what he believed to be an angel.

Azar finally reached him, taking her place under the arch and placing her hand in his.

"Hi." She whispered with a smile.

"Hi." Bucky chuckled softly with a smile of his own.

"You look stunning." He said, still in complete awe at how beautiful she looked which earned him a blush from the brunette.

"You look handsome." She replied, causing his smile to broaden.

T'Challa smiled at the couple and placed his hands on theirs, starting the small ceremony off with a prayer, asking Bast to bless and protect the marriage.

During the sermon, both Bucky and Azar couldn't take their eyes off each other, their gazes full of pure love and happiness.

They hadn't even realised that the King had finished his sermon until he gestured for Azar to say her vows.

"Where do I begin to even describe how much I love you? We didn't find love like in all those fairytales and movies.. We found love where love cannot be found. Which proves that even through darkness.. Our love burns bright." The brunette spoke as her eyes filled with fresh tears. "I love you so much, James." Her voice broke.

"James Buchanan Barnes.. Standing here with you and declaring my love for you is not enough. I vow to show you everyday that I love you and promise to love only you till my end of days. I will shield you from all the dangers of the world and fight side by side till our last days. I promise to spend every waking moment to make you happy and see that beautiful smile you show. I promise to care for you on your worst days and to nurture you on your good days. If we argue or fight.. I promise to not sleep till we resolve it.. I give you my absolute everything." She finished off.

Bucky smiled softly at her, wiping the fallen tears from her cheeks.

"I guess it's my turn." He chuckled nervously before taking a deep breath.

"I was drowning in a void of darkness until you, this beautiful, pure white light, began pulling me from the trenches." He squeezed her hand gently. "You are the perfect representation of God's heart to me - loving me through my good days and my bad days, never judging me on my past and the horrific things I've done, and never seeing me as the monster I knew I was.."

"So on this day, March 11, 2018, I promise you my unconditional love, my fullest devotion and my most tender care. Through the pressures of the present and uncertainties of the future, I vow to love, honour, cherish and protect you each and every day for the rest of our lives. You are absolutely everything I need and I can't thank God enough for blessing me with an angel."

Fresh tears began to form in his eyes as he let out a shakey breath. "I promise to respect you as a woman should be respected, to lend you strength when you need it most, to encourage and inspire you to achieve your dreams." He stared at her with such intensity and raw emotion. "My heart is now your shelter and my arms your home. You will never have to walk alone again, doll. I'm with you until the very end."

Azar's lips trembled with each word spoken from him, a watery smile etching its way onto her lips as a soft sob escaped her.

T'Challa smiled at their heartfelt words before revealing a familiar silver item in his hands.

Azar now knew why Bucky had asked for his dog tags yesterday and watched as the King asked Bast to bless the item that he held.

He then placed the tags around the couples joined hands, praying to the Panther goddess in his native tongue of Xhosa.

Feeling as the couple's vows were enough to declare their love and devotion to one another, the King turned to the dark haired Soldier with a smile.

"You may kiss your bride." He announced.

Bucky turned his attention to Azar, who stared back at him with a bright smile.

With a smile of his own, the soldier first placed his dog tags around Azar's neck before tilting her chin up and pressing his lips against hers for their first kiss as a married couple.

It was sweet and passionate, the brunette and soldier pouring every ounce of emotion they had into it. And just like their very first kiss, there were still fireworks.

Smiling into the kiss, the newlyweds pulled away slightly, Bucky resting his forehead against Azar's.

"Hi, Mrs Barnes." He whispered with a grin causing the brunette to giggle as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

She was now officially Mrs Azar Barnes
