Partying around isn't my cup of tea but my persistent bestfriend had convinced me to come.

Jisoo is a happy go lucky girl that freely succumbs to our generations cultural tracks which involves booze and night life. While I on the other hand dedicates my time in books and studies, both of which gave me solace that most people gets through their night life or with other people.

That is why being here tonight surrounded with people I barely know about is kinda new for me.

My thoughts were interrupted as a booming voice had captured my attention. "Yah! Jendeuk ah why are you standing there? Come." Jisoo excitedly dragged me towards the table where her friends were. I know most of them. Whenever Jisoo brings me around they have been nothing but discreet but I know some of them loathed being with a nerdy like me while some are just basically good people.

"Hi guys!" My bestfriend greeted with enthusiasm. "Sorry we kinda ran late." I then heard someone snickered. "Oh please Chu we know she was the reason you were late. Why do you keep dragging her along?" A voice that was coated with pure hatred, Im Nayeon had spoken. She had been vocal about her disgust with my presence. And to say she had never been subtle in expressing her words.

"Cut my baby some slacks Nabong. Your bunny teeth might grow bigger than intended due to your hateful remarks." It was then when I  someone approached me that I felt welcoming embrace had engulfed me altogether. "We are glad to have you Jen. Don't mind her. She's just pmsing." Roseanne Park or Rosie is Jisoo's long time girlfriend and pretty much my friend as well. She is pretty much cool and cute at the same time. I can't blame Chu for falling for her as Rosie is truly adorable.

After greeting me, she enveloped her girlfriend with a hug and shared a quick smooch together. Their affection with each other were subtle in the piblic's eye but as their eyes meet it was enough for anyone to conclude how much they love each other.

"Is everyone here?" Jisoo asked.

"Not yet Pokpak texted that she would be late." Rosie answered mentioning an unfamiliar name.

"That girl never changes. Please do entice me babe why you are bestfriends with a tardy Manoban when you are very much an early bird?" Chu asked to which Rosie chuckled. "As long as she always got my back I have no problem with that."

It was minutes later when they began ordering their respective drinks.  Today was the last Friday of summer as this Monday our freshmen year in college would finally commence.

As our orders arrived, I took my bottle of beer and glanced around. I saw familiar faces who I had been with since middle school but have never once shared a deep conversation with. I sighed knowing how my introverted self had been for all these years.

"You okay?" I heard Chu whispered.

"Yeah. Just having thoughts of my own." I said as I bit my lips. Glancing up Chu flashed me a worried look.

I shrugged. "Don't look at me like that. I am ok. Everything is fine." Before she could voice out her thoughts, Rosie had cut in and dragged her girlfriend towards the dancefloor, and as a whipped ass partner that she is Jisoo allowed herself to be dragged but gave me a look that our talk was not over.

Looking around I continued to gulp on my beer without even noticing that I almost finished the bottle. I rarely drink and because of that I knew my tolerance to alcoholic beverage is quite low. As I finished the contents of my bottle, I settled back in my seat comfortably and scanned the area. This is the kind of crowd I usually miss when declining Jisoo's offer for a night out.

My train of thoughts were suddenly interrupted when I felt a person pulled me off the chair. It was Rosie. I gave her a questioning look.

"Your bestfriend literally begged me to do this as she thought my convincing skills is beyond better than hers." She leaned closer and whispered. "Don't disappoint, please." I did gave in and loosened up. For the first time I felt free jumping to the beat I barely know. But something crept me out as if feeling a burning gaze on my back.

I shrugged knowing I was just thinking too much.

Chapter 1 is finally out. I can't promise to update much it might take long to complete this I hope you guys would still suport it though.
