I left immediately after my short encounter with Lisa. I just left a message to Chu saying I'll head out first. She did not asked further explanation but replied for me to take care and that to text her when I arrived home.

As soon as I entered my flat, I went to the fridge to get a glass of water as soon as I have settled in the kitchen stool I suddenly broke down. This is the only place I could do that. The only place where I could freely express myself, show the emotions I usually keep hidden while outside. Maybe I do such things because I do not want people to see how weak I am.

This was supposed to be my fate I guess. I was born to suffer. But if that is the cause then it is a cause I could not quite understand. My train of thought were cut off when my phone suddenly beeped. Without looking at who called, I merely answered it in haste wanting to enjoy my solace after the call ended.

"Are you home?" It was Chu. A hint of worry could be heard. It was then when I remembered that she asked me to text her once I had arrived. "Yes. I am sorry. I... I honestly forgot." I heard her sigh on the line. "It is okay. As long as you are okay. Rest well Jendeuk." With that the call ended and my tears kept pouring down.

Jisoo had always been a patient person especially to me. I know in such instances where I kept her worried like today she should have shouted at me or even curse me for it but she didn't. She would never scold me because of that she thinks it is petty and always tells me that what is important is that I am safe and that alone consoles me.

I am quite pathetic aren't I?

Chirping of birds could be heard as the rays of sunlight shone towards my face. As I opened my eyes, I noticed I was still in the kitchen stool as my head laid on the table. I guess everything that had happened yesterday pretty much tire the hell out of me that I passed out here.

I looked up the kitchen clock and it was already eleven am. Sighing I stood up and went to the bathroom to cleanse myself.

As the cold water hits my flesh, random thoughts just kept surging my mind. But what truly had me thinking was Lisa. Everything about her was intriguing. My train of thoughts were suddenly interupted due to the consistent tone of my doorbell. As fast as I could, rinsed myself and put on the bathrobe shouting for awhile to the person who keeps pressing for my doorbell. Annoyed, I opened my door with a frown on my face. Suprisingly, the person was no other than my bestfriend Kim Jisoo. "Morning Jendeuk!" She greeted as she raised a handful of groceries. "You know, it won't make me open the door immediately if you keep pressing the doorbell you know." I commented.

She shrugged and moved passed me going to the kitchen as she placed everything she brought on the kitchen table. "Your fault you were slow."

"I was in the bathroom Chu." I explained.

"Didn't know. Now will you stop complaining and help me with these?" Knowing I do not have any choice I complied. "What are these for anyways?" I inquired.

"Food of course. It is because today we will be having a movie marathon slash mukbang Sunday!" She said enthusiastically. "You sure are chirppy today."

"Well it is the last day of Summer and before I succumb to the depths of College life let me enjoy this stress free day with you." She said and all I could do was smile at her. This girl's energy is really contagious.

True to her words we did prepare the food and to say it was a lot. And since Jisoo arrived around noon, I was assuming that the food was for both lunch and dinner.

After the preparation, we made ourselves comfortable in the couch. As we found our comfortable spot, we binge watch the Hunger Games series, I mean who does not like Hunger Games right?

When we have finished everything, it was around nine in the evening. Jisoo said her goodbyes with a promise that she would pick me up early in the morning for us to go together to school.
